Very welcoming and helpful staff on front desk. My room was very clean and smelling good, and also the towels and linen. Breakfast it's excellent and good coffee 24/7. They have all you need to be comfortable. Also, pet friendly!

Mrs Latoya is super great, very friendly and ready to help. The housekeeping staff are wonderful. The room was beautiful, this has been one of the best hotels we have stayed at in a long time. They were all really wonderful when it came to my pet, truly pet friendly and kept reassuring me he was fine (lol). A wonderful breakfast set up, and not like the hotels who claim to have free breakfast and it’s just cold cereal and bagels (lol) but bacon, sausages, eggs, waffles etc. I would definitely recommend this Best Western and staff here anytime and would stay again if my family is ever back in town.

The location was great. The front desk staff was friendly.
The other workers were smoking marijuana outside the doors. You had to walk through the smoke. The elevator stinks of weed, and clearly, this is a place where marijuana is a big thing.
That’s great for some, but I’ll never come back here. I normally stay at Holiday Inn Express when I come to Bama Games.

If you like the stink of marijuana, this is your place.
If you do not, keep away.

Oh, the toilet wasn’t flushing right (for urine) and when something more “solid” went in, it backed up.

I told front desk and hours later, I found a plunger and fixed it myself.

As we were leaving.. Police, Fire and EMS was pulling in. Drug use was a thing there. One guy Saturday night was walking up and down the halls, shirtless, with butt crack out.. stoned out of his mind.

We will not return.

Everything thing about this Best Western was great. It was so clean from the halls to the waiting area, and all the way to the room. The manager was very helpful and professional when I purchased the room. She went the extra mile on helping us out and asked if we needed anything else. Great place I will stay there again my next trip back to Birmingham.

Marijuana stench and some cigarettes continuously all night. Placed reeked of it. We ended up having to put a towel under our door to block the smell from coming into our room. It was sooo strong and the elevator stunk of it too. I wish we would have checked reviews before booking. Apparently this is a common complaint there. Never booking there again.

Positive: Good breakfast, cold bottled water at the desk when asked, friendly staff. Cracker Barrel, Waffle House and Applebees right across the street and gas station on the corner. Bed and pillows were excellent. Towels very thick and excellent. Bed was firm. Negative: Sheer curtains with no blinds or heavy curtains which kept the room fairly light at night.

The hotel is clean and staff is very nice. The problem I had was the smell of marijuana in the stairwell. The hot water didn’t work in the shower the water was cold. You can hear everything in the rooms. I heard people walking around in the hallway to some banging doors below me. As you walk by the rooms you can hear people having conversations, taking a shower and watching tv. No privacy at all. I don’t get good sleep from the noise. I really enjoyed the breakfast plenty of options.
