Wonderful experience. Sebastian at the front desk went above and beyond, MULTIPLE times to help me out, and made my stay so much better. I accidentally left my dome light on in my car and he made a point of finding out the make and model and looking up in the system so he could call me in my room and let me know if he had not done that I would have missed my daughter‘s gymnastics competition the next day I owe him everything!!!!! Give him a raise!

Last night was the first of three nights. Honestly this place is kind of a dump. We can hear EVERYTHING going on outside our room. Check in took forever because the line was long and only one person at the front desk. Didn't even want to leave our room last night after returning from dinner because we were so uncomfortable with the surroundings. Also just woke up and have several small itchy bug bites. The bathroom door doesn't close and we're scared if we force it to close it'll get stuck that way. The TV options are honestly garbage and any channel that might be promising is so pixelated it's not worth it. We take lots of long weekend trips, summer vacations and stay in hotels often. I swear we are NEVER staying here again.

This BW is located between Grass Valley and Nevada City with convenient access to Hwy 20. Easy 3-5 minute drive to either town and to major attractions in the area. Close to shopping and restaurants.||Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of free parking. WIFI was good. Excellent hot water. Breakfast was standard BW hot breakfast.

The room is a good size, but the bathroom smells like urine, the molding in the tub is old and cracked, and the whole place feels very run down. I didn't want to walk in the room barefooted. It's also very noisy: I could hear the television in the next room and also heard people yelling at each other several times. Some of this noise may have been due to my location: i was in room 117, which is directly above the lobby. I suggest you avoid this room.

The free breakfast is passable, though the serving space is quite small and crowded. My scrambled eggs were cold and had some dry areas that made me think they were not fresh. I only ate one meal there because of that.

Staff was friendly and service was quick. There are a supermarket, a pharmacy, a fast-food joint, and several small shops right across the street and several other restaurants within a few blocks.

The worst customer service experience ever!!

I spoke to the lady at the front desk Andrea and she was extremely abrasive. I was asking for information but she was unhelpful and even defensive. She brushed me off to help the customer behind me before I was done talking to her. When I asked to talk to her manager she said no and threatened to call the cops. I ended up having to knock on the door of the kitchen and ask them to call a manager. When the manager Tamika came, she immediately ganged up on me with desk lady without even hearing anything I had to say. She raised her voice at me and again threatened to call the cops. I’ve never felt so mistreated in my life. STAY AWAY!!!

Love this BW location, everything from the front desk ,the rooms ,breakfast, parking lot, and the ice machine. And the people working there are very nice, friendly and helpful. And they have an excellent coffee machine ready for you 24/7 and is conveniently located next to all shopping plazas and restaurants. As well as Bank Branches.

We've stayed there for years and slowly watched it deteriorate. The rooms are old and dirty. The floors and carpet turn your feet black. I believe it's due to a lot of construction type people staying there, which brings a lot of dirt with it. They don't clean the carpets either. It's gotten creepy too. There are a group of homeless across the street and sometimes wander through the lobby and parking lot. No one speaks English, other than the front desk, so it's hard to communicate if there is an issue. They need to train their staff on how to clean the rooms. And the owner needs to update the place. The food is decent, but if you show up an hour after it opens you'll have to wait a bit for more food to come out or maybe not.|So, all in all, it's too bad that people don't take care of their property. We're hitting the road to better places.

I spent one night here on a recent trip though Grass Valley. The hotel is in a good location, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast in top-notch. There is a shopping center right across the street with a supermarket, a few restaurants, and a bakery/cafe. The hotel is a bit older, but the rooms have been kept up nicely. It is my go to spot when in the area.
