Was looking for buses for a three day event. They requested my itinerary before offering pricing. It was sent into the Fresno office and was told I have have pricing the next day. Nothing arrived, so I called. For over two weeks, I would email and call about buses. Was told I would receive a return call, that never happened. When calling I was disconnted 4 times. Never heard back. So unless they are the last company with buses, look elsewhere.

Had a good time using this service. We took a day trip to Oakhurst. We decided to book again for a different trip. Staff are super friendly. Very organized. Bus is super clean. Wifi available on bus. Lots of storage overhead and under seats for those needing to bring a little more or doing the longer trips. Storage available in the underbelly of bus for wheelchair, walker, and stroller users. Charging outlets also available including TVs and a non flushable toilet in the back. We didn't watch a movie though, could be cause it was a short trip. Agenda is given or mailed to you after purchase of seats, seats are assigned but you're seated with your own group not with a stranger. They also provide the agenda on the day of. Use above rails if bus is in motion if and if you're using restroom. The only thing i have to say when making improvements, so far, is making emailing more accessible. Wrote them via email but never got a response. I found calling or seeing them in person, during normal business hours, worked best when booking seats. Prices overall are also very reasonable. Lots of retirees use this service but there were also a few younger people seen. They make it easy on us traveling since we hate to drive lol. We also made friends on the bus! Highly recommended!

Poor experience on trip to Pismo Beach car show. I was "seat assigned" next to a very large woman. When I asked if I could move to another seat, told "only if there is a cancellation, this trip is sold out" . After being plastered to the window for 4 hours (yes 4 hours due to long break and detour", arrived at Pismo Beach to find that bus can not park near car show due to many roads being closed. I was then forced to walk 1 mile to the event. And then 1 mile back to bus pickup point. Many seniors on board with walking issues. I myself suffer shortness of breath and fatigue when walking on uneven areas (uphill) due to heart issues.
On return trip, a very nice passenger offered me the empty seat next to them. I did notice several other empty seats. Unfortunately the tour guide on this trip felt it was too much for her to find me another seat when asked. Addionally, a little research on the event itself, road closures, parking for busses and access would prevent forcing passengers to "walk or miss out". Also, as the bus pulled away, several passengers noticed shuttles letting people off. We were not made aware of this either.

Took my wife and grandson to meet up with about 27 other people at a predetermined place to be best to LA and then to Japan. The bus was supposed to be there at 2:30 to be loaded and leave by 2:45 a.m. . The bus actually got there about 3:30 so nobody had time to eat breakfast before flying out to Japan. They might want to change their name to almost best tours.

I was set to take my church high school group to winter camp this past February and then the mother of all winters hit the mountains. Here's what impressed me about the integrity of Best Tours: they canceled our charter a couple of days before our trip. Sound stupid? Not when you consider our charter was going to transport 45 kids and 6 adult leaders. Best tours could have been all about the money and risked the lives of everyone onboard to transport us, but instead they put our lives and their reputation above money. Jasmine took the time to explain just how dire road and weather conditions were and they would not transport out of an abundance of caution. Additionally, Best Tours gave us a full refund. And, for the record, the time Jasmine took to explain the circumstances to me was in the midst of all power, land phones and internet completely out in the office. That folks, is customer service!!

I have enjoyed many good trips with friendly drivers. Everything was great and well-timed with consideration to the needs of the passengers. I would recommend Best Tours to anyone. But you need to accept the long rides and extensive sitting. Bringing extra snacks and drinks is a good idea. Expect to have fun and forget your troubles on these mini-trips.

We have been using Best Tours for years now for our Youth Group trips. We take hundreds of students to LA, San Diego, Hume Lake, Pismo Beach and a bunch of other areas. We have never had one single issue with Best Tours. We use them 7-8 times a year for the past 7 or 8 years. Their prices are always competitive but most importantly, their drivers are incredibly safe and well prepared. They put the safety of our students and their passengers above everything else. Sometimes these drives can be really challenging (Hume Lake in the snow) and they always get us to our destination as safe as possible and in a timely manner. We will continue to use Best Tours for years to come.

I booked a trip to Monterey with best tours and travels. I have used many different agencies throughout the years for different trips in Canada and US and I can say by far that this is the best company I've ever dealt with. The fleets were new and super clean from the seats to the floors to the washroom. The service is personalized and impeccable. The staff which I assume are the owners since it is a family business are the sweetest and most caring I have dealt with. The bus driver we had on this trip was the best driver! It was a long 3.5hrs drive from Fresno to Monterey but they trip was smooth and entertaining since the driver was telling funny stories and talking about the history of a few places along the road. The buses are fully equipped and most importantly for me is the service and unlike the comment listed below I can assure you that this is by far the best customer service we have received! I highly recommend this company to anybody that is looking for a trip! Rating it 5 stars and I'm definitely doing business with them again
