My mother and have been here for months now, due to lack of proper housing. Regardless; the rooms are older, and some are outdated. However, Brad, the absolutely wonderful handyman here has been working to renew them! New ACs, windows, etc have all been recently installed! The owners are lovely people, and are always a joy to chat with if you pass them outside! The rooms are filled with people who live here fulltime, alike to me and my mother. We've made friends here, met some really cool people with unique stories, and the overall community established while staying here has been nothing short of grand. In terms of location, most places are within walking distance. There's nearby fast food options, as well as a Mexican grocery across the street! The hospital, court house, post office, and more are all about a mile or so away, which makes navigating the town without transportation quite easy. Only complaint is the looming roach issue, though we haven't had any in our room yet.. but others most certainly have. It is an issue they are working to resolve tho!! If you have kids, keep an eye on cars pulling into the lot, as the drive also leads to the trailer park, and some people tend not to slow down. To put things simply, I adore staying here! Start with the good. When we first got there it seemed a bit rundown. We said it was a bed to sleep it and it was fine. The rooms were visually clean and staff was friendly.

Onto the bad. Walls are thin. It says no smoking but when people smoke whatever outside it gets sucked into the rooms. On the last day I noticed there was a nice big gap under the door. Plus we found a roach in our bag. Guessing the lack of seal on the door didn't help with that.

My partner and I stayed here for 7 months (on a weekly rate) and experienced nothing but kindness and generosity from other folks and the owners. The rooms are a little outdated, but to us, it gave the motel more character. High speed WiFi is included in all of the rooms, lots and lots of channels to choose from, and super comfortable beds! Very fairly priced for what we needed! We were pretty cold this past winter since our in-room heater didn't work well, but we were given heaters and the windows were sealed to prevent a draft. 100% would stay here again if my circumstances change or we end up in Sparta for the night!

When we first got there, we immediately got a complaint for being too loud when we were just sitting on our phones then some guy came up, pretending to be the owner and kicked everyone out. Overall this place sucks. The real owners were rude. The pool wasn’t open there was no housekeeping no room services. The coffee sucked. The TV channels wouldn’t even work and the bed. Had some type of reddish brown stains on them will never come back.
