Upon arrival, I was appalled by the deplorable condition of the room. The presence of bed bugs, cockroaches, and a considerable number of vagrants outside the premises was distressing. I promptly requested a refund, but unfortunately, the well-fed female front desk attendant's response was unprofessional and dismissive. In light of this experience, I strongly advise against patronizing this establishment, as the conditions are arguably more inhospitable than sleeping on the street.

One of the worst places I've ever had to stay on the voucher program! Due to the fact complete infestation!! We had to have the manager Tanya trade out our microwave because you could see the roaches in the LCD part of the microwave, gross!
A room didn't have our smoke detector installed our room had one ceiling lights that had no cover over it that was above the beds and wires dangling! The back door wouldn't secure nor would the front door with any of the latches or locks that came with the room. The room was filthy!!!! When we checked in I had to spend a whole day and a half double scrubbing myself to feel comfortable enough to want to be in the room and go to sleep. When we got there we didn't have no chairs or table nothing. The air conditioning itself was in the bottom of the drapes in the back corner part of the room and it had no heater and this was during the middle of the raining season and the cold. We were freezing. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone.

Hell where do I start. When I first got there there was nobody at the front desk spent about 20 minutes waiting for them to show up. Then they give us the key to the room and tell us to check it out to see if we like it so we go we open the door and there's literally somebody else in and the room was trashed. Then after that we went and told them we told them that there was somebody still in the damn room so they're like oh we didn't know he was then they're like oh it's going to take us 30 minutes to clean the. It took them an hour and ultimately they just gave us a different room on the top floor which was a much nicer room the only problem is I went to get in the shower and there were cockroaches climbing up the wall. The light sockets were pulled out of the walls so you couldn't turn the light on. The towels. They gave us we're not even White they were literally stained black every single one of them some more than others. While we waited we asked if we could get in the pool they do have the pool there and they said yes so we got in the pool and we were swimming. After we got out of the pool our bodies were literally sticky.

My husband and I stayed here for 29 days. The manager Tawny and her team went above and beyond of what they were only capable of doing. We ran out of kitty litter while we were there. My husband was out trying to come up with some with what little money we had. Tawny asked me while he was gone if there was anything that she could help us out with and I said that we were out of litter and that he went out to try to get some. She said let me see what I can do. I might have some around. Next thing I know she comes back with some litter for us. It totally blew me away that she did this out of kindness. She also let me use the phone a few times to take care of some business matters. The second week we were there the motel started to get a makeover. Everyone on her team was super nice from her person at the front desk to housekeeping to maintenance. Highly recommend for families or people who need a little extra help getting back on their feet. Thanks so much for everything Tawny. Love u to the moon and back.
Room was huge. Big window. Back private patio. Very spacious. Big comfy bed. Nice big flat screen.

Location was perfect for us. We had restaurants, grocery stores, other stores, and petco just right across the street. Also on bus line. Very quiet. Very kid friendly, family oriented.

I would give this place no stars if I could. Management lives here, which wouldn’t be a problem except for the fact that they charge more than it’s worth. The room looked old and was very dusty when we stayed so we had to deep clean it, but the main key part is theirs a big roach infestation here! You’ll literally find groups of them in cracks in the walls and in the most random of areas, I told management about this and the man gave me raid and roach traps as if this is normal for them. But the lady who’s up front, was extremely rude from the beginning. And randomly one day while me and my wife were sleeping the lady barges in talking about pest control. She didn’t knock on our door, didn’t apologize for her barging in and invading our privacy and I even had the latch on top! Which shows how much stuff here is broken or just flat out doesn’t work! From then on we were extremely uncomfortable for the rest of our stay and the day we moved out my wife had left an important magnet of hers in the room with a lot of sentimental value. Not even a full hour after we left I called and asked if we could come and get it, just for management to say they gave everything in the room to the homeless. This is not worth no 500 to 600$ a week or even worth 80$ a night. This place deserves to get shut down for its disgusting environment and it’s managements disregard for their customers who they’re scamming pretty much. Crazy how the people running this place made it more uncomfortable then the homeless and the addicts everywhere around this hotel.

This place is cute and quaint . HAS THAT FEELING OF GRANDMAS HOUSE OR HOME. It's not a 5 star hotel it's a 2 at best. But the staff is awesome and the manager Tanya has really added a nice flare to the place. There's a large pool yard that's being worked on currently. Large rooms with private balcony. You get a little more then you pay for here. Cheap rooms great location that literally is touching a IHOP DINER. IN HEART OF EL CAJON. THE CROWD THAT HANDS AROUND THE AREA IS A LITTLE RUFF. BUT MIND THEY'RE OWN BUSINESS. DEFINITELY X RATED THINGS ARE AVAILABLE NOT FAR AWAY. BUT I STAYED A WEEK HERE AND HAD NO TROUBLE AT ALL. BUT I DEFINITELY WOUKD LOCKED MY DOOR RIGHT BEHIND ME. COMING OR GOING. BUT FOR A 2 STAR 🌟 ITS DEFINITELY WORTH IT. I DEFINITELY SEE MYSELF IM COMING BACK. WITHOUT QUESTION.

I was there a couple times after remodel. Great place but then realized the drugs going on. My girl is currently in room 208 and there giving here meth, drugs. Bad place, I hear it’s the maintance man suppling it. Not a good place or kid friendly. RECOMEND STAY AWAY

The management team is absolutely wonderful. I stayed over a holiday and was included in a traditional holiday meal plus so much more. They have been working hard to clean up the property from the garden beds to the roof and inside the rooms as well. They are doing a great job all while maintaining a high level of customer service with a smile.
