We stayed in the Ballroom suite. What a beautiful, quaint accommodation and more room than we needed but very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay here again. Great value and the hosts very accommodating. Also the location was very convenient.

This is our second visit in the last two months. I have never loved a B&B this much.
The top floor ballroom is simply magical. The owners are so genuine. I can't put into words the uniqueness of this place and the love i have for it. Highly recommend.

Far exceeds expectations. What a treat and it was my birthday.
Almost didn’t want to leave the space for the show I came to see at the Lacrosse center. Full kitchen, treats, coffee bar and REAL milk. Honestly I can’t say enough.
If I’m ever in this part of the country again, this will be where I stay.

We stayed in the ballroom suite. It was marvelous and central to so many of the fun adventures we had. It is also great to just sit and relax in from the balconies, claw foot tub, and fainting couch to the comfy bed and full kitchen. We are planning to come back next year for a few more days. Hosts were so personable and friendly. Just the best b&b I've ever been to.

We specifically chose the Bentley-Wheeler Guest House because we needed a space to accommodate our team for a work retreat. I thought the house was great because it allowed us to all stay in one area without having to split between hotel rooms. What I loved most was the size of the dining room which allowed for our team to work around the table and have enough space to also spread out for other team-building activities. The breakfast that was brought over in the AM was plentiful and of high quality. Thank you for having such a great space in the heart of La Crosse. We greatly appreciated being able to arrive at the house at check in and just head in on our own without having to "check in" which made for a casual start to our time and felt very relaxed, like we were at someone's home vs. a hotel.

We were celebrating our 3rd Anniversary and could not have made a better choice. We stayed in the Ballroom Suite, which was the entire third floor of this beautiful Queen Anne home. Our breakfast was discreetly placed outside our door every morning in a basket filled with fresh fruit, baked goods, cereal, juice and milk; totally avoiding the potentially awkward community breakfast served in most B&Bs. Not that we always mind chatting with new people over breakfast, but the pick your own timing and privacy provided here was just perfect for a romantic getaway. We could not have made a better choice and look forward to coming back again and again!

We stayed in the guest house. It was wonderful because all four of us had our own rooms for privacy but thoroughly enjoyed the common areas to hang out together. We also enjoyed the fact that the guest house offers privacy from other B&B guests as well as private kitchen and laundry facilities. Management was extremely flexible and welcoming. The price was wonderful and the location was 5 minutes from downtown fun and the civic center events.

We recently held a staff meeting here and our experience couldn't have been better. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, the meeting space private and convenient, the food delicious (and organic), and the hosts could not have been more friendly and accommodating. It's also a pleasant walk to the downtown district and a short ride from the airport. We will be back again in a month for a larger business retreat, and more than likely for more functions in the future.
