I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming spot for the first time, and I was immediately taken by its cozy, welcoming vibe—an ideal setting for enjoying a light breakfast with friends. One of the standout items was their gluten-free Belgian waffles, a real treat for those with celiac disease. Of course, as with any restaurant, there's always the risk of cross-contamination, so it's important to be mindful. That said, the waffle itself was perfectly crispy, with a delicious balance of flavors, especially paired with fresh fruit. It made for a light and satisfying breakfast.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the space made for a pleasant dining experience. While I found the matcha a bit on the sweeter side for my liking, it was still enjoyable, and the variety of alternative milk options was a nice touch. All in all, this is a fantastic spot for a relaxed meal, and I’d definitely consider returning!

We love coming to this cafe every time we’re in town! The food is exceptional always. I ordered the custard berry waffle and it was so tasty. The iced Spanish latte was also really delicious. Overall the service here is great, the staff is nice and we never have any complaints. 10/10 recommend!

Hidden between a Burrito place and beauty salons in this little cove filled with the energy of having matcha on a weekday afternoon off.

Belgium waffle haus provides menus with seasonal offerings and sandwiches along with its breakfast staples. The service is adorable as she drew little doodles/kaomoji on our coffees instead of names. There is also some light table service which is pleasant and most table ware is stainless steel for the more eco conscious.

Honey/Syrup is provided at the table. Overall, for 1 Kefir, 1 medium coffee, and a sandwich estimates to under $30 USD. A nice date and premium experience for those looking for a social meeting. Bathrooms are available, and booster seats are clean and ready in the back.

It was our first time trying this place. Atmosphere was welcoming, service was friendly and attentive, presentation of the food was aesthetically appetizing, and the taste of the food did not disappoint. Great place for breakfast and good coffee.

Belgian Waffle Haus is among the top spots for a delightful breakfast and delicious coffee. We recently tried their Smoked Salmon Croque Madame Waffle, and it was absolutely delicious. The waffle was incredibly soft and complemented by a generous serving of hollandaise sauce. Additionally, we savored their Bannella Sweet Waffle, which was equally delicious.

This is a proper breakfast spot. As a former chef, I am not easily pleased but I was immediately and pleasantly surprised by their food.. My wife and I have been to many of the more popular/trending spots in socal, and this place beats them all. No huge lines (which is great, but frankly a shame because this place really deserves it), polite & pleasant staff, and hands down the best waffles we have ever tasted.

Ill put it to you this way, I have half a mind to get a moving van and shove the whole lot of instagram-following, line-standing, thoughtless bunch that gathers at these so called "Best Breakfast in O.C." places, into said van and bring them here. If not to wipe the smug smirks off their faces, then to at least let them have one REAL waffle in their likes/follows lives.

I may have gone on a tangent. Belgian Waffle House is genuinely amazing food. You can taste that everything was made fresh and minutes ago. Not unfrozen for your (their) convenience. This place is 100% recommended and became an instant top spot on our list.
