Right on Broadway; a couple blocks' walk from the Pacific Ocean; within easy reach of several eateries and Long Beach (gay) night life--this bed and breakfast is welcoming and wonderful. Historic craftsman bungalow accommodates several couples easily: each bedroom is private with its own bath. Off street, free parking (SO important in Long Beach!) has easy access to the b&b. The place is close to Long Beach airport and an easy drive to LAX, Long Beach harbor, and San Pedro harbor. The breakfasts each morning are varied and were all delicious. Excellent coffee 😉

Excellent location and accommodations! Clean comfortable rooms in a quaint setting. Pat and her daughter were great hosts, offering dining tips and lively conversation. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Long Beach. I am looking forward to my return to the Beach Runner's Inn. Thank you!

I am very please to say that our visit at The Beachrunners' Inn was just what the Dr. ordered! My 2 sisters and I were attending to a family matter, that was compounded by a separate family matter, which only created additional stress, etc., but the Inn was our saving grace. Pat was so hospitable, and gracious. Her home is charming - the location ideal. We walked to our dinner. I enjoyed a very long beach walk (3 blocks away), our breakfast was delicious. It was the perfect setting, considering our situation. I felt at home, and my mind, body and spirit was grateful.

Want to help clarify that although Google labeled this as a hotel, it's actually a very nice B&B.

Quiet, safe, very pleasant staff, close to the downtown with lots of public transit options, at a very reasonable price price point

Would absolutely return. Highly recommend

We had a lovely 2 night stay in the Kennebec room prior to our cruise. Breakfast both mornings was wonderful. Being an introvert, B&Bs have never appealed to me but the pictures and write-ups changed my mind. I was not disappointed. The quaint house was out of a movie from my childhood 😊. |So much history and uniqueness!! We walked down to the beach and along the trail both days and found a great Italian restaurant to walk to in the evening for dinner. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. We purchased some wine at a store close by and enjoyed a glass of wine 🍷 in The Beachrunner Inn’s living room after dinner. |Thank you to Pat for a lovely stay. If we are ever back in Long Beach we will certainly stay here.

A wonderful old house with a cozy atmosphere. Nicely decorated clean rooms. The location is great, close to the beach and not far from Downtown Long Beach. Breakfast was varied and lovingly prepared.

Pat is a lovely and unobtrusive host. We were so glad that she shared her home with us 🙂

We had such a lovely stay. Our hosts, Pat and Courtney, were so nice and friendly. They’ve added so many extra touches. Breakfast each morning was delicious and so many choices. We look forward to returning!

This is my favorite place to stay in Long Beach. Pat and her daughter have created a beautiful home to host traveling guests. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I've stayed there multiple times over the last few years and each time I've met interesting people, ate delicious breakfast (different entree each morning), and slept comfortably.
