Found this place by needing to take a bathroom break on a trip back from visiting family. It smelled good so we decided to grab a bite. The sandwich was huge for a great price. Delicious sauce. Awesome sides. Reasonable prices all around. Great BBQ.

Had the pork shank (huge) which had a great bark and beautiful smoke ring and was quite tasty. I had the cole slaw which is vinegar based and spiced just right, loved it. The cream corn was recommended, (more like a corn casserole) which was tasty but I'll try something else next time. Great presentation with some pickles and and pickled red onion on the side. The only let down for me were the sauces.., they need work.

Our order was supposed to come with drinks. But all they offer is sweet or un sweet tea. Which the sweet tea was empty. The pulled pork was tender and juicy but had no BBQ smoke flavor. My wife got the chicken. Turns out it was a half a chicken that looked to have been fried chicken. Our sides were good but the best was the Mac n cheese. I will give 5 stars on that

I have been stopping here for several years. Today was the worst experience ever. I arrived at 11:30 and surprising there were very few people in line. I ordered a plain baked potato and a pulled pork sandwich. After about 10 minutes I was advised that there were no more baked potatoes. I changed my order to one of the specials: 2 piece fried chicken plate with 2 sides. After about another 10 minutes I was advised that they were frying the chicken. When my order was delivered I grabbed and ran to get back on the road.
I opened the sandwich for the driver and it was ICE cold…not room temperature but cold. The bottom half of the bun was soggy…odd as there is no dressing of any sort on the sandwich. (You have to add your own sauce). My $13.99 two piece fried chicken dinner (remember, they were frying it) was actually 3 small wings with a large portion of luke warm baked beans and warm potato salad. The wings would have been the equivalent of a leg with their small size. Of interest, there was a wing plate which was cheaper than the 2 piece chicken plate I ordered.

I tried to call my order in on 3 separate occasions with no answer. While I was in the store the phone rang very often and no one ever answered although they could have when no customers were at the register.

These guys are not on their game today!!

The outside welcomes you with a rustic southern, relaxing charm. While walking to the door, I noticed people sitting in their cars devouring their takeout BBQ. Upon opening the door, the aroma of fresh BBQ inhabits your nose, causing your mouth to salivate. The wait is quick. Generous portions for the price. Bathrooms are exceptionally clean. Great way to end a beach trip. Don’t forget the dessert!

Excellent food!!! Pork was so tender & flavorful. Coleslaw had a great tang, not overly sweet. Mac & cheese was awesome. Husband loved his cobbler!!
