Booked rooms with king beds for ourselves and our friends. Was impressed because they actually were king beds and not the usual crap that hotels try to pull of calling the next size smaller by the larger name. Nope, these were indeed king beds! The showers were unique. Kind of like showering in a pod. Whatevs, it got the job done. There were plenty of places for dinner, and we initially had thought that we needed to go out for breakfast but that notion was dispelled by the very nice offerings in the morning. Cold items, hot items, juices, coffee... definitely more than your average continental fare. We were very happy with it and have no worries about pulling in there for our return trip.

They don't have an elevator. 1st floor is actually down stairs and second is ground level. Very small rooms. It shows newly remodeled rooms in the picture but I still have old carpet and furniture from the 80's in my room. Bed is comfortable but very small. I think it's a full. Also if your a CLC customer..they don't give hotel points. So if you can pick the Best Western in town they will use your points. Customer service is good though!

We had a great stay at this hotel. Rooms are small, but very clean. Nice linens and very clean bathroom. The hot breakfast was very nice too. We'll stay here again whenever we drive north

Positive: Had a coffee machine in the room Negative: People were drinking in the parking lot and then kept coming in an out until about 11, with a loud door that kept spooking my pets. Not a good night sleep.

the lady at the front desk was very unfriendly… . I greeted her by saying hello I’m here to check in& asked for an ID & said since you’re a local (she didn’t give a smile .. extremely unwelcoming) you would have to pay 275$ in CASh as a deposit … I was shocked &had to cancel my booking..

This staff at this hotel always gives me great service. Some people complain about the train noise but I have only heard it once and it was no big deal. The prices here are decent. The hotel is older but kept in decent shape. For my quick stays and a place to put my head for 1-4 days it suits my needs. We can stay in better and Barstow has some higher end hotels, but this one is fine for our purpose. And having lived in Barstow for 45 years prior to moving to Arizona, I am familiar with the town and this hotel is located in a safer part of the city.

We got there late as we were traveling home to Oklahoma from California. Front Desk was rude. We were put on the first floor and the door looked like it had been kicked in and the first room was very loud with a super loud AC unit. 3am, I got into a argument with the front desk as we could not sleep and got the room switched then that room had blood stains on the sheets. Would I ever stay here again? NO

This place was amazing. There was a rush of people trying to get rooms, and even though the staff was probably stressed, they gave amazing service. The room was very clean, with really nice water pressure and extra towels. The complimentary breakfast had a lot of good options and was always getting restocked. The neighborhood was fairly quiet and it felt very safe. Overall this was a great place.
