Called to see if I can get some water. basically to refill my containers at a sink or anything. The receptionist said she had to ask for permission for such an excessive amount of water (4 quarts) Why? Is there a water shortage here in Juneau or just the hospital? Oh well at least Salmon Creek won't be giving me any hassle for getting water. Geez people how hard is it to let someone fill their containers and walk out? Why does it need to go up the chain of command? Have a heart next time because the next person might not have a water filter like I do and may become your patient for drinking contaminated water. Then you're going to feel awful. Just saying it's just water not gold.

Let's be realistic more than half of these "5 star reviews" are fake, made by them or they had it made for them to up the rating

I have tons of stories of 2 different people in my life who has been treated horribly

As a example
My mother in law had kidney cancer, which they saw and could've easily gotten rid of it before it got worse
They knew for 2 years before they even said anything to her, to the point she lost her kidney due to their stupidity

Before you go and make excuses for their behavior

What about the time a nurse decided to cut her open for no reason, and because of that nurse who had no permission or authority to cut her open
Put her on death's door, if they didn't get her out of there when they did to a different hospital/different doctor
She would be dead

Or my fiance
How he's constantly being treated like a junkie
He hates pills, if his body didn't need it in order for him to not be throwing up all the time, he wouldn't take any at all
So he never asks for any pills, just want them to figure out why he's in so much serious pain

He has many things that aren't right,he has poor health but he does everything he can to be healthy as he can to avoid going to the er

As well as they have so many cases against them no one wants to put up that lawsuit fight as they will just pay it off and continue to treat others horrible

I'm not saying every single person they do but definitely alot

I wish that the government or whoever would build another hospital/er
So they wouldn't be the only option

Instead of making banks,coffee shops

They need better doctors who not only cares about their patients but who will do what they can to help them as much as possible

Idc if I get hate for this post, someone gotta be honest and speak up

I do not trust them and I really wish we had a another hospital

We had a great experience here. The nurses, CNA's, and doctors were all friendly and professional. The doctor even took the time to show us x-rays and explain what was happening. Being from out of town, we were not familiar with the area, and the nurses made sure we were taken care of with food and lodging. They helped make a bad situation a little better.

I usually get seen pretty quickly at the ER and treated very well. Probably because I was almost always in uniform and they knew I worked at the hospital. Till tonight I was out of uniform and brought in my two month old babygirl she was not cared for nurse’s and what not we’re literally eating and kicking back two and a half hours she was barely triaged and no nurse or doctor even saw my daughter I am livid that this is how they treat a coworker just because I don’t work in the same department and I wasn’t on shift doesn’t mean I should’ve been treated like this at the hospital I WORK AT.

I struggle with mental illness and was admitted to the 3rd floor,
I was scared and hesitant to go,
I was on my death bed and all hope was gone,
Now I can honestly say, They saved my life!!
In more ways than one.
I never felt so safe and cared for,
All of the staff made sure all of my needs were met,
The therapy groups were just wonderful along with nurses doctors and even custodian staff were wonderful and so polite.
Bartlett saved my life,
I could rave on forever,
But the truth is I will never be able to put into words just what they did for me,
And my life and my family.
They gave me hope and compassion when I had lost all hope,
I felt completel helpless and lost,
Every single person there are some of the most wonderful, caring and compassionate, just incredible people you will ever find in the world,
It's not just a job for them and you can feel that.
They want to help, they are very special people.
I felt heard for the first time in years of trying to get the help I need,
In just a few days they made sure I got that and made appointments for me so I didn't have to try to figure it out alone and remove the stress of the hunt for the right help.
I have absolutely no complaints,
They made sure I had a safety plan and outpatient services before my discharge.
Thank you so much!!
I now have hope again and if I ever reach the end of my rope again I know just where to go.
10/10 would recommend.

They don't only treat your physical illness but they also provide emotional support especially to patients like me who's from other country and no family with them.

I have had the unfortunate disgust in working with the Hospital from a far. I was not the one personally receiving care; but my son was. I have had to deal with NURSES or so CALLED nurses who are just there to get a check. They do not CARE about the well being of my son. The lack of professionalism is a colossal failure and I will seek more advice as to report the Chairman and nurses of this facility. It's a shame that I have had my hands tied to what needs to be done for my child. Seek another facility when you can.
