This place is great! Amazing food, great portions, good price, and great conversation with the employees. They act like they love their job and I believe them.

The nacho tray is absolutely ginormous! The burrito bowl was a large portion too. As a 240lbs man who loves to eat, I’m telling you the portions are solid for the price.

Also, their chips are always on point and the queso is solid. Plus they have a salsa bar with 3 flavors that are good.

We always stop on our way through Wise, VA and I’d recommend you do too.

This place has it over Chipotle. For the quality and quantity? You're going to have a hard time convincing me otherwise... and I used to love Chipotle on an almost addict level. My girl got nachos and I ordered the spicy chicken quesadilla. Worth checking out if you're ever close to one.

If you want to actually get what you order, go to the restaurant. I ordered online and completely regret it. They were out of a few things which happens, but the store took the liberty of not informing me and just replacing everything with cheese dip. Out of guacamole, so I got cheese dip. Out of cookies, got more cheese dip. I’ve now got a mountain of cheese dip…which I don’t eat. They were also out of Powerade and went with tap water instead of just providing a cup for the fountain. Just overall not a great place.

I ordered take out from the app. I was informed they didn’t have some of the ingredients I ordered when I got to the restaurant . Apparently they didn’t have anything I ordered. I included the picture of what I opened when I got home. The other Barberitos locations have never given this low quality product.

I was going to share a picture of the amazing burrito I got, but I ate it too quickly. I love this place! The customer service is excellent and fast. I mentioned it was my first visit and the staff took the time to explain things to me while making sure I didn't feel rushed. Everything was clean and really fresh. If you question whether it's fresh or not, like one guest did while I was there, they offer to make something fresh right in front of you. I got greeted right away. Free chips with every order - and they are fresh. Good sweet tea. You get a hearty portion for the price, and you can customize anything the way you like. They have vegan and vegetarian options, too! Tofu! I almost ate there twice in one day, because I loved it so much. The guacamole is so good you could eat it with a spoon. I lived in this area 3 years before I got around to trying this place. I missed out. If you haven't tried it yet you need to go! I read through the reviews that claimed that their food was bland. They have a lot of great options for sauces and add on flavor. I understand they need to cater to everyone so if you don't want your food too bold or spicy you get that option by not adding their flavorful sauces to your customized meal. I know that a lot of restaurants will go light on the salt and things like that so the people that can't handle that extra seasoning can still eat there. If it tastes bland to you, tell the workers. They will suggest sauces. You can tell they make the fire roasted salsa by the amount of fresh garlic and tomatoes in it.

First: this place is so dirty. Everyone sitting around in their phones when they should be cleaning.

Second: I know each location is different, however, these chips taste like they came out of a bag instead of made in store like JC and Kingsport locations. The chips are stale. I ordered nachos. There was no rice. I asked for shredded cheese because at other locations they will put the nachos under a broiler to melt the cheese. I thought they would do that here, but they don't. They then asked if I wanted lettuce and I said yes, again thinking they would melt the cheese first. They added the lettuce and then pour queso on top which immediately wilted the lettuce. At this point I just pay and move on. Tried the food to be fair but immediately threw in trash. I won't be back to this location.

I think they earned a review from me. I've gone there three times now because im in the area on a project. Im already being treated like a regular. The staff are incredibly friendly.

The food is pretty filling for cheap too.

Nice place but if your looking for good portions…. or think it’s similar to CHIPOTLE it’s NOT!!! they OVERCHARGE for what they give … not enough portions for what you pay for! Food is expensive $15 for meal no drink and just a scoop of extra sour cream with a regular meal … when I was there the same guy who was wipping the windows when I walked up to the place served my food…. 🤢 use your BEST JUDGEMENT some days it’s a hit or miss!!!
