Perfect spot downtown with lovely people! Super friendly and hospitable. I enjoyed my stay. Very neat and organized! They have wine now, too. I'm grateful to have met the owners!

You get what you pay for in a pretty good way. My partner and I stayed there last minute and it was pretty expensive but did the job. Beds were comfortable and the room seemed clean. We were right outside construction though so that was a little annoying. The location is worth it 100%. Right in down town walking distance from stores, harbor, raptor center, restaurants, library, etc. The staff were also nice. When we checked in they were dealing with a bunch of people from a missed flight and were clear and communicative as well as patient.

The soap in my bathroom was obviously previously opened and used. The box was in rough shape, the stamp was worn down, and there was a bit of hair on the back of it. I understand being eco conscious but that's just disgusting.
I couldn't get ahold of the shuttle to pick me up from the airport so I had a 30+ minute walk, but the shuttle back to the airport was at least on time and fast.
Good location. Staff could not have cared less and acted more annoyed than anything, but I got my room so I guess there's that.
You're not gonna get a great stay here, but it's a place to sleep.

The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and with the fan on, road noise was tolerable. The sign in front of the motel was torn up but had the shape of a Super 8 motel chain, but no indication of its new name. The lobby was under construction with the motel entrance facing a traffic circle. On the walk to our room, we passed a non-working soft drink machine, uninstalled washer-dryer combo, and a non-functioning ice machine. The room had DIRECT TV which had limited channels and problems when it rained - 280 days out of the year. Later on I asked the front desk person ( an older women with no willingness to help) where I could get a soda, and she referred me to the market 3 blocks away. I asked when the soda machine would be fixed, and was told, "who knows". This was $197/night. We stayed there 4 nights and sometimes a very pleasant, younger woman greeted us and offered to help about any item we wished. She couldn’t get any of the out-of-order items fixed, but she tried. She offered us rides and help with the usually non-functional DirectTV. It rains a lot, so cable TV is desperately needed. The WiFi in the room was average at best and usually not working.

They claim to serve Continental breakfast from seven until nine. The first morning they never did find bowls for the two kind of sugared cereal. there was cheap bread for toast and nothing to put on it. The I can’t believe it’s not Butter and the Welches grape jelly were both empty. On the second morning there was no food at 7:20, no clerk and just a sign with a phone number. It seems the manager and her boyfriend were in Anchorage and no one else could help.

Great location and reasonable price.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. I stayed this place with my family for 10 days, but they kelp patient with my kids, serving continental breakfast according to my kid's needs. That was really helpful.

They also offer a shuttle service between the lodge and the airport, the ferry terminal.

It used to be a franchised motel, so the structure is old, which is why I gave 4 out of 5 for gust room. But, I want to note that the manager told me that they will renovate it soon!

This hotel needs serious attention. Unkept on outside, no signage, lobby dark and messy. Electrical wires overload on surge protectors. The same front desk person has worked the same shift for over a day. He also did housekeeping. Also, tv, fridge and phone not working. Asked for maintenance to assist and it has been over 2O hours and nothing. Ridiculous price for value. About the only good thing about this place is the location. Owner needs to step up and pay attention to asset and staff.
