I booked Balloons Above as a Christmas present for my husband. It was a brilliant trip. Will has decades of experience and is not only incredibly knowledgeable about piloting balloons, but he is a talented story teller of history. All sorts of history. We were in the air for 75 minutes, and it was just so serene. We’ll certainly book this company again.

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Balloons Above! We’ve never been up in a hot air balloon before, so we didn’t know what to expect. It was absolutely magical and so fun with a pilot who is as experienced as Wil. He and his wife, Gwen, have a true heart for ballooning! We learned some fun facts about the desert and history of ballooning all while floating over the gorgeous desert scenery. I reserved a hot air balloon ride to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday and I can’t recommend Balloons Above enough! Wil is an amazing pilot, super knowledgeable, and the ride itself was amazing and worth every penny. I had no issues with communication even with me reserving two months in advance. Definitely go with Balloons Above if you’re thinking about doing this in the Palm Springs area.

Wil is the most experienced pilot you’ll find in ballooning. We booked this for my husbands 40th birthday, feeling a little nervous but excited, we were amazed at the experience. Safe, fun and great communication from beginning to end. Highly recommend and would definitely do this again with Wil.

We represent The Palms at La Quinta Assisted Living and Memory Care and we partnered with this company to make our 93 years old resident's dream come true! They took 8 of us flying and provided such a gentle take off and landing and the smoothest and most enjoyable ride. 10/10 experience. Most professional company you are going to find in the area. Other companies cancelled on us last minute for fictitious reasons and had poor reviews. We would recommend this company to everyone we know!

An EPIC life experience! The family wanted to do something special over the holidays, and Balloons Above really came through. Wil and his lovely wife Gwen took good care of us from the planning phase to the ballooning to the after-party at their hangar.

We chose Balloons Above because of their superior piloting experience and felt as safe and comfortable as possible while floating over the Coachella Valley. They even found a way to accommodate one member of our party with some physical limitations.

All fourteen of us left feeling like we'd touched the sky, and every single one wants to do it again-- Park City next time where Wil and Gwen also fly.

It's rare to come across someone so skilled and genuinely enthusiastic about their craft. Our balloon was undoubtedly the most beautiful in the sky, turning our experience into a picturesque journey we'll never forget.

After landing, we were pleasantly surprised with a mini picnic that felt like a cherry on top of an already perfect day. The wine was great, complemented by the best crackers and cheese, creating an atmosphere of luxury and relaxation. Will continued to engage us with more stories, this time about the history of hot air balloons, enriching our experience even further. The attention to detail and the effort to make our experience memorable was truly impressive.
