Towards the high end of what I've come to expect from the Choice Hotels brand. Clean comfortable room, quiet location, professional service. The coffee is decent and there's room for improvement with the continental breakfast but, overall, I'm quite satisfied with this place and will certainly be staying here again whenever business brings me to Bainbridge Island.

Room was clean. Very basic and dated. Old school TV, no fridge. The big problem is the terrible pillows! This motel is priced well for the area, but not so much lower that we shouldn't expect comfortable pillows. And there were only two pillows per bed. Totally not enough. One was flat, two felt like they were stuffed with socks. One was decent. Totally ruined the sleep.

Staff friendly and helpful, however bed was really firm, toilet had problems working, extremely low water pressure in the shower, breakfast area in too small a space so it felt really crowded with minimal selection of foods, bathroom could have been cleaner, was okay but there was hair in the tub. Not a great value for the price of the room.

For the price point, this was a great experience. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was (I kid you not) the most comfortable hotel bed I've laid in.

The snow and ice were not cleared off the stairs or walkway leading up to my room, making it dicey to come and go. However, I'm giving them a pass on this because the snow storm pretty much crippled the island when I was there and I was just fortunate that the staff was able to be there. If anything, I was extremely surprised and thankful that I stayed here. And I'll make sure to stay here again on my next visit to the island!

Such a cozy hotel! The room was much larger than anticipated, with a living room, kitchen, and separate bedroom with bathroom. It was clean and quiet at well. The front desk staff was lovely and the morning breakfast was delicious! I absolutely recommend.

We stayed at this motel 4 nights and will return to it next time we are in the area. The minor problem we had was tended to and handled nicely. The staff is great. The new manager is working hard to make things that needed to be worked on much better for the visitors. We have stayed there each time we have been in the area and watched it thru all phases of needing improvement to being a very pleasant place to stay. It may not be totally modern but the other assets it has make up for that. Very reasonable also.

I would not stay here again. The website leads you to think you're staying a cute in; however, it's a typical motel. No fridge, microwave, or iron/ironing board in the rooms. The microwave they allow you to use does not work. They also will not allow you to charge items to your room and they won't accept credit cards for anything less than $20. The room smelled like smoke and the property in general is less than attractive.

I did the queen suite for a check out price of 169. Stayed only one night and I'm glad I did. Looks nice from the outside but the room inside needs more attention. 6 inch burn marks in the couch, dirty dishes, and unclean sheets are a few of the issues. I would expect more for the price. It's 89-99.00 place.
