Booked last minute due to complex home repair nearby and the Innkeepers could not have been more flexible. The room was well appointed, bed and bedding so comfortable and breakfast amazing each of 3 days. Cookies topped off the afternoon and the garden and paths relaxing. Thank you J and L for relaxing stay and good company.

The stay here was amazing !. It was my first B N B and although apprehensive at first at staying at someone's house, it was soon put to rest. Our hosts were like old friends and we were very comfortable there for two nights. Very picturesque and comfortable and the late night cookies left for us in the hallway were over the top. I will be staying there again in September and bringing another couple with me . Thanks for an Excellent experience. Billy Franklin

John and Lisette were wonderful hosts. Breakfasts were large and very good. Good central location to explore the area. Try the town of Irvington for fine restaurants.|Must stop is Vines great small plates and wine and beer list. For a elegant dinner go to the Tides Inn.

This was a fine choice of places to stay in Kilmarnock. You can walk to the quaint town from this Inn, which is a fun thing to do in order to get some exercise and to get a closer look at all the town has to offer.

The hosts are warm, friendly and great at what they do. They did everything to perfection.

The place is very clean, well appointed, beautifully decorated, charming and just what we hoped for. The breakfast is not to be missed - we were spoiled!

Our romantic room was a tiny bit small, but we liked the room so much that it didn't bother us. The quality bed, soft pillows and the crisp bed linens were memorable and lovely. If you are looking for a great B&B experience, do not hesitate.

Very nice B&B. The hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming. The room was small, but the bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. The breakfast was delicious. We were visiting one of our sons who has a house on the Northern Neck of Virginia. The B&B worked very well.

Due to an emergency at our nearby home, I was able to book two nights at this lovely B&B. CHARMING! The hosts were delightful, the company was fabulous, but the BREAKFAST was out of this world. Lisette is a top drawer cook...literally the best breakfast I've ever had was the Benedict (can't remember the exact name) and we have traveled the world. Highly recommend this lovely B&B. I plan to return even though we are not far away. The lovely flora and fauna of the yard and the extensive vegetable garden provide added charm. I was so happy to have fresh veggies! Thank you to our hosts...exceeded expectations by far!

This is the perfect little B&B. Went there for a weekend getaway and to visit local wineries. This place is a convenient home base for doing so. The town is quaint and there are several amazing restaurants within a ten minute drive. The rooms are nicely decorated to represent the time period the house was built in. The bed was very comfortable. The living room is very comfortable and has a gas fireplace for colder nights. The grounds are gorgeous as well. The owner/operators live onsite and are super nice and welcoming. We loved chatting with them at breakfast. They are a very sweet couple. The breakfast was amazing, home made and fresh. Coffee is great too, and they even offer flavored creamers. Highly recommend. This was a super comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Love the cookies! Pictures in their website do not do this place justice.

On a spur of the moment, we decided to spend our 30th wedding anniversary (Labor Day weekend) in the Northern Neck area and found this gem of a place (highly recommended on TripAdvisor) and we were not disappointed. Lisette and John (and their grandson) are wonderful, warm and gracious hosts. Our room was comfortable, very clean, and cozy. The house was full of charm and the breakfast was outstanding. The home was centrally located in close proximity to wineries, downtown, and restaurants. We look forward to coming back and staying here. Thanks Lisette and John for a wonderful stay!!!
