I gave the Atmosphere a 5 even though I ordered it to go. It was clean inside and the a/c on. If I were to dine in it would have been great. I ordered the Ruben and roast beef melt with mac n cheese for both sides. The sandwiches did not disappoint. There is plenty of meat on both sandwiches and they both taste so good! This is my first time here and even though little far, this makes up for it to me. I'm looking for to the future sandwhiches.

I got the pulled pork and rib plate with two sides and a large tea, $25 with tip. The portion sizes are absolutely crazy! I got about half way through before I was full. Food was delicious and staff was very kind! I will be coming back 🙂

I read the reviews and had high hopes when I ordered!

First let me talk about the good.

The coleslaw is easily some of the better slaw I've had at any BBQ spot in the Northwest. The cucumber dill salad was fresh, tangy, and Dilly! Everything you'd want in a cucumber dill salad.

The service, I can't speak to much because I ordered online and picked up. But I will say that from order time to the time I got the text saying my food was ready, did seem like a long time. It could've been that I was hungry, but then I looked at my order time and the time the text came in.

The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect when you close your eyes and think about a small BBQ joint!

Now let's get into the ribs and chicken....
The ribs aren't exactly ribs. They're riblets. I can't tell if they were actually smoked, but I know that they at least finish them over an open flame, all I could taste was char, and with a THIN cut of meat, a little bit of char goes a long ways and there was more than a little bit of char. The sauce had a good flavor to it, but still couldn't cover up all the char flavor. The chicken was a butterflied thigh that was tough and relatively dry.

This isn't a one and done experience for me. I will try other things on the menu, but I will not be getting, nor will I recommend, the "ribs" or the chicken. Maybe the pulled pork or burgers are better. Time will tell.

From time to order to receiving food was about 50 minutes. This is a hole in the wall stop, and the food was amazing! Well worth the wait.

I was with a group of friends, so I'd recommend ordering ahead because they do get busy.

Probably the best burger I have ever had. Their selection of handmade BBQ sauces made the experience even more delightful. Would come back to Richland just for the food. The staff were so kind and attentive as well!

Wow, you other reviewers were NOT kidding. This place is shockingly slow. I came in for a sandwich/side with 1 other customer in the building (who was already eating) and it took 31 minutes for my order to be ready. That being said:

5 stars for the food - one of the best sandwiches I have ever had in my life - absolutely delicious!

2 stars for the service - as mentioned, painfully slow but friendly staff

4 stars for the atmosphere - Clean, comfortable with a lot of seating

4 stars for the prices - very reasonable for what you get

If you want an amazing culinary experience (and you brought a book with you) it may be worth the wait. Unfortunately, this place is probably one and done for me. I just can't justify waiting that long for a sandwich. Regardless of how good it is.
