I recently stayed at Ayres Hotel Laguna Woods, and I can't say enough good things about it! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the hotel's location. It’s situated in a fantastic area with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping, which made my stay incredibly convenient. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this hotel is perfectly positioned to explore the best of Laguna Woods and the surrounding area.

One of the things that stood out the most was the cleanliness. The hotel is impeccably maintained, and you can tell that the staff takes great pride in keeping everything spotless. My room was fresh, tidy, and well-organized, which made my stay all the more comfortable. It’s clear that they pay attention to the little details, ensuring every corner of the hotel is pristine.

The aesthetic of the hotel is also a big highlight. The interior design is modern, elegant, and inviting, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. It’s stylish without being over-the-top, offering a sense of calm and luxury.

I think I would have scored it more if I went in the pool. The rooms were quaint but the plugs power wasn’t great a couple of my tech died in the morning. It was beautiful from the outside. I did try the fitness room which had good options to choose from. Also the breakfast was nice but I felt rushed in the line whereas others were told about their offerings .

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. For the price, the quality and location are quite good!

It's a bit on the dated side, so that shows in the decor of the hallways and rooms, but everything was up kept very well. Rooms and common areas were very clean. Staff were very friendly and pleasant. Everyone says hello and smiles. The grounds were surprisingly nice as well. They have a quiet courtyard with a pool that's well maintained. There's also a small nature preserve in the back of the hotel with benches and tables, a nice surprise! It was also a nice surprise to see a breakfast bar every morning serving eggs and omelettes. The biggest drawback was the water pressure of my shower was quite low, not sure if they can do anything to improve.

Overall I would highly recommend this hotel over others in the local area, I think they deserve your business.

Stayed here one night for an event my wife and I went to and I would say the hotel exceeded our expectations. We were very pleasantly surprised by the breakfast they offer, not your casual cereal and muffins. They had someone offering to make fried eggs if the scrambled eggs they offered was not preferred along with potatoes and sausage patties. Also offered the usual fruit, yogurts, make your own waffles and toast. Food was delicious. The gym was well fitted with great equipment, definitely better than the basic hotel gym. Pool and hot tub was fantastic and it was convenient that they offered guest laundry room for people in case they needed to throw a load in during their stay for a small charge. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Our tv only offered one channel but thats because we couldn't get the remote to work. Was very happy with the overall experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

The hotel had an odd smell & was even worse in the room. It may have been related to the current construction/ renovations. Everything else was great! Breakfast has plenty of options & sitting near the fireplace on the patio was heavenly. Bed was really comfortable. Room was neat, clean, & tidy

The good:
- Overall the staff at Ayres Laguna Woods were warm, friendly and very helpful. Check-in and check-out were a breeze.
- The room was neat and tidy.
- Internet included was perfectly serviceable for a video meeting.
- The bed was comfortable and air conditioning kept the accommodation at a great temperature.
- The omelets at breakfast, freshly prepared to order, were excellent and the option for freshly made waffles was a nice bonus.

Could be improved
- Shower water pressure. While the tub filler lead me to believe there would be plenty of pressure, when the showerhead was engaged the flow was weak, more like a sprinkling than a torrent.

Overall
Ease of access from John Wayne International was great, proximity to my destination was incredibly convenient and the variety of restaurants near by was sufficient for my stay.

My family and I were in town for a family funeral. We really enjoyed our stay at the Ayres Hotel-Laguna Woods. Everything about the hotel was really nice! Our rooms were great; very clean and well maintained! I slept like a baby in that most comfortable bed! Breakfast was so delicious! The gentleman cooking and serving the breakfast was super friendly and greeted me with a smile and a cheerful "Good morning!" Thank you so much!

I absolutely love this hotel! I will be coming back! I would just say book your stay on the third floor in the corner if you don’t want any noise. Amenities are great and they have real breakfast and it’s good! The views and light in the rooms on the third floor are wonderful!
