I was in Sitka for work and had to book my rental early. I have used this location before and the manager is always super friendly and makes sure you are happy with the car. The cars are not new, due to the cost of getting a car to the island, but it was clean and odor free. I will be back and use this rental again.

Avis of Sitka Alaska is pretty much the only rental agency-there are a couple small independent ones but I haven't pursued them. Avis is right in the airport, have a great manager in Patricia and she has a great staff. But as the tourist season gets closer, I'd book early. Their cars are well kept and the staff will do anything they can to make your trip, business or otherwise, a good one.

Great and friendly service in Sitka. I booked online then called to make sure we had a car reserved. No answer. But to my joy, an agent returned my call that day and assured me that we had a car reserved. Very easy to pick up at Sitka Airport. Very easy to return. Thanks Avis! We were there in July 2022.

Absolutely the best service at check out, anyway! Car was originally reserved for 9 am. Then I went online and changed to 1 PM the day before. I actually showed up about 2:30. Many other car companies would have given my car away, considering how in demand they are. But they had my car waiting for me. Very friendly and helpful counter person!
