The golf course was beautiful with amazing views and a fun, yet challenging layout. My one complaint was the poor quality of their greens, especially for a big tournament. They were slow, fuzzy, and rather bumpy. I was pretty disappointed after having so many people talk it up and how expensive it was. Might give it another shot in the future but not anyone soon.

Played Aviara golf course today …this track has always been outstanding but today it was less than even acceptable…fairways were dormant and not well groomed. The greens were bumpy and not rolled very well. Very disappointing for a course that WAS a favorite…not to mention the high price of admission.

I golfed this course in 2016 and it was a phenomenal experience. Everything you would expect from a championship golf course. Based on that experience I golfed it again last week. Well times have changed this course looks half dead. On 2 and 13 there was not much grass on the fairways. The greens were in good shape, but not much else. Complete disappointment for 300 dollars. I honestly hope that they can get it back where it was.

Fantastic!
The golf course was excellent. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, with an abundance of range balls available to use. The putting green speed matched the actual course greens perfectly. The course is well-designed for golfers of all skill levels, and the fairways, greens, and fringes were in perfect condition. Everything was outstanding! I just wish they offered a beer special, like a discount on a six-pack. I ended up paying $12 for an imported beer and $10 for a domestic one... 😅

Played on 2/22/2025, the fairways were dormant with very little actual turf. Pretty much hitting off of dirt. The driving range was not cut and like hitting off of the first cut in the rough. Greens were about average. To have the audacity to charge $300+ when the course isn’t in great shape feels like a total scam, awful value. Maderas is in significantly better shape and half the price.

Played course on 16 October 2024. Great treatment from the staff from start to finish. Extra shoutout to the man working in the pro shop that morning at around 945. He was very polite and made me feel welcome. The course has great amenities such as a cart girl, snack bar, multiple nice restrooms on the course, a bar, and a nice restaurant from what I hear. As for the course they have a full size range with complimentary balls and a nice putting/chipping area. The course is in great conditions from the tee box to the greens. Great course layout with multiple elevation challenges. Greens rolls great, fairways pretty, bunkers well maintained, and the golf carts are a luxury! Definitely recommend this course to all and I will be back!!

Only played the golf course, didn’t stay at the hotel. Great layout. Decent condition considering it’s January. Greens were in phenomenal shape.
