Our party of 4 had 3 different pizzas. Each represented its own flavor and satisfied. As a Chicago born and FED person, I am sorry to say that the "Chicago style" offered here was not from my experience. The side salads were quite good.

We had Spaghetti and Meatballs, one of their specialty pizzas (with special requests of things to be left off due to allergies). And a chicken dish. Also, my husband got a bottle of Green River, that was a bit expensive, in our opinion, at $6.00, so we won't be getting that again. But the food was very good. We'll be back!

Pleasant surprised by this place. The location is questionable but walking through the doors is like a time warp.
You’re transported into the pizza place of my childhood. Lots of cool stuff to look at that bring back lots of memories. They seem pretty busy- I’ve only heard good things so we gave it a try.

This used to be one of our favorite place to come for a good meal and comfy atmosphere. The salad bar used to be exceptional and a much smaller selection. My meal’s presentation looked like something that might be slung on a plate in prison. The taste wasn’t bad, but nothing special. Our waitress never smiled and we never saw her again until it the bill when she deliver a quick grin for her tip. I rarely ever write a review for anything unless it’s exceptionally good or bad.

We didn’t get to try the seafood pasta dish that we hoped for as they were all out of seafood, so we opted for a chicken fettuccine and a medium rare top sirloin steak. The steak came with spaghetti, salad, and bread. My fettuccine came with a delicious side salad and bread. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza, with added bacon. Oh my gosh, the food was heavenly. The pizza was some of the best I ever had. My pasta was delicious. Even my 2 year old couldn’t stop stealing bites. Especially loved the yummy fresh side salads. My husband enjoyed his steak. Great food. I hope we get a chance to try that seafood pasta soon!

We found Aversano's during COVID times and haven't gone anywhere else locally for Italian fare since. We love them - the food is always good and there is always lots of it. We love picking up and eating in the comfort of our home however, we enjoy going in as the the feel of the restaurant is like being at home!

Went for dinner here with family but really wasn't impressed with the food, after my food arrived the flavor was just ok and only luke warm so I sent it back to be heated up. Had the ravioli and spaghetti just not a lot of flavor. I'm not that picky but wouldn't buy that meal again. Now I've had their pizza and that's really good. Still give them a try it might be better for you.

Ordered at 7am in the morning for a 5:15pm pickup. Got there at 5:10, knowing i was early, and let them know i was there. At 5:25 I checked back, and found they had not even started my meal. Frustrating, after giving them 10 hours advance notice so they would be able to have it ready to go.
