Christian, a true gem of a staff member, generously allowed us to use a mini oven to bake cookies, adding a personal touch to our stay that made it feel like we were staying with friends, not just at a hotel. And then there was Jasmin—the breakfast host whose kindness and radiant energy turned our mornings into something truly special. She didn’t just serve breakfast; she made us feel like we were the most important guests in the world.|The room itself? Pure perfection. We were delighted to find three spacious queen beds in one room, providing ample comfort and room for all of us. Every inch of the room radiated comfort, and the luxurious towels felt like they were plucked from a five-star spa, making us feel pampered at every turn.|However, the one downside to our stay was the parking situation. We were initially told that parking was extremely limited, and we could only bring one car. But when we arrived, we discovered there were plenty of available spots, which made the restriction feel a bit unnecessary and frustrating. It left us wondering why such a limitation was even in place when there was clearly enough space for all guests.|In every other way, Avania Inn is a hidden gem in Santa Barbara—a place where comfort, thoughtful service, and attention to detail combine to create an unforgettable stay. We left with our hearts full and minds already planning our next visit, despite the parking inconvenience. It’s not just a hotel; it’s an experience we will cherish forever.

The rooms were very clean and breakfast was very very good! Good walking distance to the beach and restaurants and a 6 minute drive to the main downtown. Check in was easy and the beds were very comfortable for sleeping. We would definitely stay here again. Jasmin was also very helpful and helped us during breakfast and kept checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Avania Inn. The bed and its pillows were quite comfortable. The our room and the spartan breakfast room were spotless. Faustina was quite busy keeping the breakfast room so. Thank you. The coffee machine with all its permutations was always available, which was very nice.||Although it is on a rather major street, we both slept well. The room is rather small, and the walls are ... well, old 1960ish flimsy construction. The balcony would have been nice to use to get more space, but alas it was too chilly and windy.||There was only one hook in the entire bathroom area. And no towel rack at all. (Small area.) The shower was slippery, as was the tile floor. We asked for a shower mat, which was quickly supplied.||All in all, the Inn was about what we expected, although some reviews hinted at great choices for breakfast. There was hot food, but no pastries (although there was an empty display.) And no nut butter. The breakfast was pretty average in my estimation.||We enjoyed out stay!

Jasmin Edwin and the staff have been great during our stay at avania. I feel like this place is a great deal - solid breakfast and lodging in Santa Barbara. I would stay here again. Forgot to mention the location is walking distance to the beach too

We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious for our family of 4 and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is located near the beach in the walking distance. The hotel staff Oswaido and Jake were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is kid friendly and the breakfast is a plus with waffel, yogurt,… we would definitely go back next time.

Friendly staff at this Inn - Jasmin & Katy kept the breakfast bar well stocked. Good variety of breakfast items. The staff was very attentive. Inn was convenient and walking distance to Funk Zone and to the wharf. Our room was comfortable and spacious.

We could not be more happy with our stay at the Avania Inn. The staff, both Edwin and Faustina were superb and made our vacation just that much better. The Inn was perfect for our family of 4, with 2 teen boys, and we could walk everywhere which was perfect! Thank you for making our vacation that much better.
