My husband and I recently stayed at Aurora Park Cottages for a quick getaway to Napa. Our two-night stay here was absolutely perfect! Kate’s hospitality was truly wonderful—we felt so welcomed and cared for from the moment we arrived. Each morning, she brought us a lovely basket of continental breakfast, which included warm pastries, fresh fruits, and orange juice. On our last day, she surprised us with a special treat that made our stay even more memorable. The cottage itself was cozy, spotless, and in a great location—peaceful yet close to everything. It was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to come back!

We stayed one night as a half-way stop on our way to Thanksgiving. It was one of the few places that offered a dedicated parking spot and some quiet because it’s on the outskirts of town. I enjoyed the location because downtown was an easy 3 minute drive away and if I was staying during the day it would have been a nice 15 minute walk through the neighborhoods.

I did the add-on for champagne and strawberries, it was a lovely addition to the trip. The strawberries were ripe despite being out of season which was a welcome surprise and the champagne was fruity, crisp, with a medium amount of bubbles to it. Normally my husband is more of a champagne person than I am, but I thoroughly enjoyed that bottle as well.

The cottage was adorable and I loved the breakfast nook and the provided robes. All the provided soaps in the bathroom are lavender scented which was a plus for me, but if you don’t enjoy that smell, I recommend bringing your own toiletries.

The complimentary breakfast was delicious: a bottle of fresh orange juice, an almond croissant pastry, a blueberry scone, and some cut cantaloupe with raspberries. Just enough to start the day, and the pasties tasted like they were from a local bakery not just pulled out of a package. I’m just sad the weather was too cold to eat breakfast on the porch, the view of the mountains was beautiful.

If we decide to stop through Calistoga again, I would definitely stay here again. I think it’s a cute place and a great value compared to other places in town.

I really enjoyed my time at the Aurora Park Cottages; it felt like a home away from home.
The cottage was well-equipped, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the great shower.
It was quiet and private, which added to the overall experience. The breakfast was amazing! I definitely plan to come back.
Kate was very nice, too.

Our stay in Aurora Park was peaceful and serene. The rooms are well-furnished with amazing robes, pillows and bed linens! And how many places have you been that didn’t have enough hooks or places to store belongings? That is not a problem here! Lots of hooks for hats, scarves, etc. The host is so accommodating and makes your visit a real treat.

I loved this place! The host Kate was welcoming, the cottage was very clean. The bed was great and the lines super soft. Kate told me what they we're and I ordered some for myself. The breakfast was wonderful, juice, fresh fruit and warm scones. A perfect start. Close to town. I will return.

This is a great find! Attractive and super clean, quiet cottages with comfy beds and great shower. A gourmet continental breakfast basket is delivered each morning by Kate. Convenient location is within walking distance to downtown Calistoga.

Loved that the fig tree in front of our cottage allowed us to pick some deliciously ripe figs. The Innkeeper, Kate was very responsive to our needs and provided us with decaf coffee and tea per our request. She also gave me a bag for the figs we picked. ||Breakfast of fresh raspberry and honeydew melon, warm blueberry muffin, and carafe of orange juice delivered in a basket to the cottage is very nice. The bear claw pastry wasn't very tasty although it was large and warm. It was nice to have the coffee maker, hot water pot and microwave in the room.

I really thought the place was just lovely. My wife and I recently stayed here after deciding to plan a trip to Napa Valley. We stayed for six nights and had no issues. The innkeeper, Kate, even discounted our rooms a bit when I had called for to ask about something and she found out how many days we were staying. She was extremely attentive and provided everything we had asked for.

I see some comments disappointment with the views and I can kind of see it. I definitely think there is a somewhat different look between some of the online photos and the reality. But, honestly my wife and I were only in the cabin to rest and had seen enough of the views when traveling around, so it didn't really bother us in that way. I will say that the area is really a perfect area to stay. Just far enough away that you don't feel crowded at all, but close enough to everything you can get to many of the wineries and the downtown areas in 10 minutes or less. From where it is, everything we were planning to hit was literally a straight-shot down the road.

The rooms themselves were just fine. Comfy bed and pillows, nice spacious shower, tv and internet provided. The chairs seemed maybe a bit dated, but my wife and I usually just lounged in the bed in the short times we were there in-between winery visits and lunch/dinner. Really, the biggest thing that bothered me was how shoddy the wifi was, but, again, first world problems. Also, we were provided with an adorable little basket of baked goods, juice, and fresh fruit every morning. It was a nice way to start the day most days.

Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone whether you are on business or want a nice little romantic getaway.
