I feel like this is a preferred locals spot when living in Ajo. I was just passing through en route south and thought to grab a bite. Took the recommendations of the staff on what to order so I recommend the same. I don't recommend the tacos, they lack flavor. The salsa is good so it helps offset the overall blandness of the food. Service and Atmosphere were decent. This is definitely Mexican food for non Mexicans.

NASTY!!! I GOT THE #1 COMBO
Taco was cold and tasteless
Rice was looks and tastes old.
The red enchilada sauce was burnt
The enchilada was microwaved and like rubber. I'll eat at the circle k before I eat Arriba 's agine

I've eaten here twice while visiting, and they're fantastic. I called in the first time for take out and they picked up immediately. I had a combo plate with an enchilada and shredded beef tacos. Everything was tasty, including the beans and rice. Not usually a fan of the rice, but there's was tender and perfectly flavored. The second time I dined in. The salsa was a really interesting texture that was lovely, and the chips warm and fresh with none of that weird oil flavor some places produce. I ordered two flautas and a shredded beef taco. I was thinking on my way to pay the bill that they were the best I have ever had when the man in front of me turned and said, "those were the best tacos I've ever had." He was no spring chicken, so that was saying a lot. The staff were also great and inviting. Way to go.

I am an Ajo local,and eat at the restaurants here regularly, and this is my favorite place in town. Great food, big portions, get the enchiladas, giant chimichanga or the burger and fries.

We ordered a beef taco and enchilada combination plate and a chicken taco salad; the food was good the service so so but this restaurant just opened so maybe the service will improve. We will find out when we go back to try those big burritos we saw on another table...looking forward to that!
