When my mother was visiting and I lived in a tiny house in rural Naches, Washington, this beautiful home in an apple orchard run by a wonderfully charming, experienced cook and furniture restorer and Victorian designer was the perfect solution! Her breakfasts, which she delivers at an appropriate time and in fashion to your room are imaginative and delicious. The view from my Mom's top floor window gave her a postcard view of orchards in bloom, the distant mountains, and blue skies. I believe it may be closed now as it's been years since I last visited, but I just had to honor Shirley Roberts when I came upon a photo of her beautiful place...the perfect country home.

We enjoy B&Bs, something other than the standard motel/hotel room and this was just what we are looking for! Nice old Farmhouse in an Orchard! Our room was upstairs, clean and comfortable! The home is full of unique antiques! Shirley was a great hostess, fixed us a wonderful breakfast. We learned a lot about Apple Orchards and Farming, even wondered through the orchards with trees loaded with apples and pears. Very eclectic great experience!||||One recommendation is plan for dinner, the closest restaurant is around 7-miles away!

Shirley is a wonderful and gracious host that makes you feel right at home. We enjoy this charming, peaceful B&B each time we've stayed. The breakfast Shirley provides is very appealing to the eyes and stomach. Enjoy sitting outside where you're able to take in all natures beauty and sounds that surround you. Looking forward to our next stay!

Shirley, the owner and hostess of Apple Country BnB made my stay an especially lovely time. My bed was comfy and the room was quiet. I stayed four days and each morning, Shirley served something new and delicious for breakfast. If you're on a restricted diet, let her know before your arrival and she will accommodate you, as she did me.||||I enjoyed seeing the many antiques and nostalgic items in her living and dining areas. I stayed during the summer months when the peach, apricot and apple trees were loaded with fruit.||||Thank you Shirley for making my stay a memorable and restful occasion.

This B&B is a little out in the country (Ha, "Apple Country"!) overlooking an orchard--a lovely setting. We have stayed at many B&B's and this one was just fine. The bedroom was big enough although perhaps a little too much furniture. Bed was comfortable and towels plentiful and soft. The bay windows in our room overlooking the orchard were a nice place for an early morning cup of coffee. We had the whole upstairs to ourselves (the bathroom is outside the room in the hallway). Our hostess does not rent the other upstairs room unless it is all one group, so you really do have a private bathroom.||||The host had warned us when we booked that the breakfast would be continental because she was leaving on a trip that morning. However, as it turned out, she made a hot breakfast anyway. Very sweet. If you enjoy getting to know your B&B host, that is not a problem here!||||This was a little over $100 (included taxes, fees), and was an excellent value for the money.||||Oh -- one of the best things was the tip we got for where to go for dinner -- Bron Yr Aur Brewing Company in Naches. Oh my, was that pizza good.

We had a night in Yakima between a river rafting trip and exploring Rainier and the Apple Country B&B proved to be convenient, charming, local and a great value.||||Shirley operates a neat little B&B farmhouse with clean rooms, antique furniture, great gardens and ambiance galore. ||||Breakfast was superb... Eggs, Sausage, Croissant, Coffee Cake, Coffee, Juice, etc. As Shirley was happy to tell us, we got to enjoy her "1st place" breakfast. Best in Yakima? I think so! Shirley was also nice enough to send us on our way with a few apples.||||Why spend the same on a motel or similar when you can support a local family, a thriving farm and have a wonderful personalized experience at the same time?

My mom had stayed with Shirley a couple years ago and loved it (and her), so when we were visiting a friend in the area, she insisted on us diverting and staying at the B&B one night. We had the most wonderful time, and since we were the only guests it was very relaxing.||||Location: Way out there, maybe a half hour from downtown Yakima? But not too far that you feel isolated from society. The orchard is beautiful, and the sunrise comes through the trees. I didn't think it was too hard to find, so long as you are comfortable on country roads. Some people aren't, and will get worried easily about getting lost, but if you are comfortable on country roads, you should be fine.||||Room: we stayed in the large upstairs room, it had 1 king bed and the décor was very nice and homey. The lighting was just right, not too dim, but not too bright. Everything seemed clean, no strange smells that I recall, and the bed was VERY comfortable. TV worked, all the lights worked. The bathroom down the hall was luxurious (IMO) and the towels neatly stacked in the cabinet. I loved the view from the window in the bathroom.||||Grounds: extremely beautiful, lovely to walk around, the gazebo, gardens, trees, stonework, etc is all very nice and having tea outside, or just hanging out and breathing in the fresh air is worth a few minutes of your time.||||Breakfast: Very tasty! I am vegetarian, and usually just go with the flow, but there was veggie bacon with my eggs! Super unexpected! That is going above and beyond, to be prepared like that. The coffee cake was delicious, the coffee was good, too. And we had a great time sitting around the large dining table chatting.||||Hostess: Shirley is a lovely and attentive person. She knows all the local history, and is a very engaging conversationalist. You can tell she loves her property very much, and enjoys having people around. One of the nicest people I've stayed with 🙂

A 4-night stay in this quaint and quiet rural setting was relaxing and refreshing. Shirley was a wonderful hostess and superb cook. Breakfast was served at the dining table overlooking the apple trees. Beautiful garden. Super comfy bed.
