Our tour guide, Sandman, was very funny, personable, and made the historical knowledge amazing to learn! The views were stunning, we took a ton of photos, and visiting Tortilla Flats was truly fun. I've lived here for about 20 years and I learned so much and saw the most beautiful parts of the desert for the first time.

Even before the ride, I was given pointers about which of the packages would be best for my group. She took the time to walk me through things and let me know what we could expect. It was even better than described!

Thank you so much for the amazing time! You will see us back again.

We took the 1 hour 4x4 jeep ride to show our out of state guests the AZ desert flora and fauna. Fast Eddy was our guide and he was fantastic! He kept a 9 year old boy totally entertained with jokes, stories, and fun facts about Arizona and the Sonoran desert. As a resident of AZ, I even learned some things I didn’t know. It was a great experience and I highly recommend this tour!

An Oasis in the Sonoran Desert!!

Fast Eddie gave us an absolutely fabulous tour, sharing detailed perspectives on the history, landforms, wildlife and local legends! He was a master on the backroads and took the time to share a wealth of knowledge.

We even got to see a javelina!!!

There were only 2 in our group, but through a quick exchange by email and phone via the Apache Trail Tours website, we were able to join another group, which was pleasant and fun!

Highly recommended!! Four thumbs up!!!

Top notch from start to finish. Jan was wonderful for booking and communicating with us beforehand to ensure we had an informed and enjoyable experience. We took a 2 hour tour with "Smokey" and had a blast! We are locals but still learned a lot from the wealth of interesting information Smokey shared. The ride was a nice blend of smooth, calm roads and bumpy, rock climbing thrills!
