Plan your vacation so that you can stay at this cozy B&B.! So simple to drive into Sharpsburg, pull into the well-maintained parking lot with numbered spaces for each unit and check into this inviting B&B. You will notice the charming detail the moment you enter. Beautifully decorated for spring with country bunnies, flowers, and carrots with comfortable chairs and couch; plus, numerous snacks, tea and delicious molasses cookies. Ice and hot water was available in their welcoming lobby and candles glowed in the windows. | We stayed in the General's Quarters. If you are looking for the nostalgia of an 1804 home with the comforts of 2025, then this is your place. Attention is paid to every detail from things as simple as plush toilet paper and a night light in the bathroom, to comfortable mattress and comforter. A fluffy blanket was draped over a chair, the couch was so homey in front of the 1804 fireplace and yet there was a mini refrigerator that was actually very cold, a large television and nice table and chairs for either snacking or working at a computer. French doors opened to a lovely porch with glider and rocker while another door opened onto a patio with outdoor seating. All was quiet and peaceful. We had asked for a fruit tray and truffles which was waiting for us on arrival. The meat and cheese were perfect on the crackers for an afternoon snack. The grapes, strawberries and blackberries were fresh and chilled. The fresh green olives and chocolate covered cranberries were an added treat. | In the morning, we were treated to breakfast with Chris and Amy. The table was beautifully set and breakfast was served in a fashion almost too pretty to eat. Both days began with fresh fruit and scones, different flavors each day. On the first morning we were treated with lemon blueberry pancakes, maple syrup from Amy's cousin, and country bacon for our second course. The pancakes were too flavorful for syrup. On our last day, a frittata was bursting with fresh vegetables and cheese along with delicious ham slices and fresh tomatoes. Both mornings were filled with pleasant conversation with Chris and Amy. Also, we were greeted by Libby and Maya, very talented and sweet puppies. | The Inn is just minutes away from the Antietam battlefield and we took a break half way through the battlefield to come back to the room for a snack.| We had a wonderful stay and we will be returning. We are planning vacations that will definitely be close enough to visit the Jacob Rohrbach Inn. It was hard to leave. If you are in the area, plan a nice relaxing stay here! Also, try the Captain Bender's Tavern for a delicious dinner. A varied menu and delicious food. Thanks Chris and Amy for a wonderful stay and for the care that you put into every detail!

The Antietam Jacob Rohrbach Inn is everything you would want in a B and B. Great location near the battlefield, warm, comfortable accommodations, and proprietors Chris and Amy that made you feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious. Because you have house access you can take advantage of the snacks and drinks that have been made available. The rooms are very clean and inviting. Cable TV and Wi-Fi are also provided. Collectively, one of the best B and B’s I have spent time at.

A wonderful experience. Very peaceful midweek stay. Lots of attention to detail in breakfast food preparation and tasted delicious. The Holiday decorations were charming. We ordered the Fruit and Cheese Platter, and it was loaded with fresh fruit, cheeses, and crackers, more than we could finish! Hosts were lovely and easy to talk with.

Stayed in the General's Quarters, a separate guest suite that was originally a summer kitchen. High ceilings, spacious bathroom with a great shower. Bed sheets were silky and cool and the pillows were almost body-sized. Decor was period (1700's-1800s) without being cheesy. Quiet. Breakfast was amazing, delicious, pretty food. Our hosts were very personable and folks we would invite to visit our house! We were only able to stay one night, but intend to return and spend several days.

Great location in Historic Sharpsburg..if you like history it’s minutes to Antietam National Military Park. Harper’s Ferry is a short dive along with Shepherdstown. The rooms are great and you wake up to hot coffee and home made breakfast. The inn keepers Chris and Amy go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. I would highly recommend this Inn.

This was a gorgeous B&B and Chris and Amy were lovely hosts. The house and Clara Barton Suite were both spacious, gorgeously furnished and impeccably clean. Communication before and during our stay was very much appreciated and helpful. Comfortable bedding, delicious breakfast and overall stay a wonderful experience! Highly recommend and look forward to returning.

We were in DC with friends, but decided to leave them sightseeing there and drive out to Maryland/PA area to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary. What a wonderful discovery this little inn was. We stayed in the Generals Quarters and from beginning to end it was a fantastic weekend. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. We loved sitting on the porch and listening to the cicadas in the trees and the accommodation was so comfortable. ||This is an amazing area to visit and I really want to come back ASAP. We spent a whole day at Gettysburg and also a quick visit to Antietam and Harpers Ferry.

Great B&B right in Sharpsburg. I had a wonderful stay, the room, The Generals Quarters, was very interesting and comfortable. Quiet area and had a good rest that night. Morning breakfast was wonderful and filled me up for my long hikes on the battlefield. Would highly recommend and will be back there again.
