We were unable to use Ann Walker Catering's full services--but they were so helpful in referring us to Sam. Sam was indispensable and amazing! He was there through every moment from set-up to take-down, offering advice and helping out through each "crisis" that comes with a large family event. Sam went the extra mile, again and again--and we were so thrilled and amazed at the effort he made to make sure our event proceeded beautifully. Assuming that Sam represents the usual caliber of employees that Ann Walker Catering hires; you can rest assured that this is the caterer to trust with your special event.

TL;DR - I hired Ann's team for my wedding at the Presidio and it was the best decision

Ann Walker in a nutshell is the sweetest and has been so incredibly easy to work with from start to finish. We reached out because she was an approved vendor for Presidio before Presidio handed the management to Wedgewood Weddings. After having a great conversation over the phone, where she described how long she'd been working in the industry and of course, her menu and pricing. I was looking for a catering service that would allow me to bring my own alcohol but not charge me a corkage. I was also looking to stay within a per person maximum. She was willing to meet all of my requirements!

We were able to discuss the menu 3x or more! We met once for the tasting and got to meet Ann and the chef, who has experience cooking many cuisines and is quite worldly.

On the wedding day, her staff was extremely friendly. My husband and I were doted on by Kathleen, who just felt like an aunt who wanted to take care of us. She filled my glass with champagne, my her's cocktail, and made sure I ate!

Now, the most important part. My friends and family LOVED the food!!! They were raving about it from the start. The appetizers were delicious, we had lamb meatballs, veggie spring rolls, and mushroom empanada. For dinner, we had a family-style meal of fish curry, veggie curry, grilled tri-tip, and roasted vegetables. It made me so happy that my friends loved the food we were able to serve!

I've worked with Ann Walker Catering on at least 4 events and every time they have delivered on fantastic food and service.

(1) Food: They are adept at tailoring the menu to their clients' tastes, and especially in cultural dishes (like southern, traditional Spanish, Mediterranean or blending Ukrainian and Taiwanese).
(2) Service: Servers are courteous, polished and have a can-do attitude.
(3) They take care of the rentals and pass along savings.
(4) Tasting location is a little tricky to find but you will feel at home. Ann and Morgan make you feel cared for.
(5) Pricing is affordable for what you get!

AWC did not deliver the type or amount of food that was agreed upon. Their responses afterward showed they did not care. We eventually agreed upon a resolution, which they then totally ignored.
