My husband and I stayed here for his birthday and absolutely LOVED it. Everything was perfect. Our room was beautiful and so comfortable. We loved waking up to a delicious breakfast outside our bedroom door. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Also the location was perfect. We walked into town for dinner and drinks. Highly recommend and we will be back!

We absolutely loved everything about the Ann Bean Mansion B&B. The rooms were so spacious and comfortable. Location is great, and breakfast was amazing. We really enjoyed the tour and learning about the history from Brian. (Complimentary wine, was nice too!). My husband and I really enjoyed eating breakfast in the dining room and visiting with Brian and Ingrid. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful home, wonderful service, and amazing breakfast. We stayed in Ann & Albert's room for a weekend getaway and enjoyed the fire place and 2 person jet tub. We played Scrabble by the fire at night and enjoyed breakfast in our room one morning and in the dining room another. We want to go back and stay in a different room because we enjoyed our stay that much.

We had an amazing stay! We stayed in the Ann & Albert room and loved it! This Bed & Breakfast is so charming, it feels like you're stepping back in time, and it has all of the modern conveniences. It was very cold when we were there, but the fireplace in our room kept us warm. It was very clean, and the bed was really comfortable. Brian was a terrific host and gave us a lot of history of the home and the area, which was fantastic. We just loved the atmosphere. Stillwater is a charming town. This is the nicest Bed & Breakfast we have ever stayed in. We highly recommend it and will go back again!

I feel like 5 stars doesn’t do the Ann Bean Mansion B & B & owners justice! If we could give them 10/5 we would! We absolutely loved sitting in the dining room for breakfast and talking with Brian the owner. We could have stayed and chatted ALL day, and you can tell how passionate he is about his B&B, as well as the history of it & making sure his guests have the best stay possible. Breakfast was SO delicious too!! I would HIGHLY recommend having breakfast in the dining room!!! From start to finish everything was absolutely amazing. There’s an easy online booking option as well as checking in/out was a breeze. We absolutely LOVED learning the history of the mansion at check in with our complimentary drinks. We stayed in the Tower room, and loved every aspect from the tub, to the top of the tower to the super cool shower. Our only regret is not spending more time in the room! It was a very quiet stay as well, you couldn’t hear anyone else staying. The house itself is stunning, and full of so much history & character. Everything area of the house was spotless/very clean as well. The neighborhood was so cute, and very safe too. We had the best time at the Ann Bean, it was such a fun & romantic get away! Also thank you Brian for everything!!! We can’t wait to come back!!

I recently had a two night stay with a love one here and everything was perfect. From what we experienced from the food and the rooms, and even the history/ drama of the mansion. I would highly recommend the showers and amenities, even the toilet paper end was neatly folded to show they care about every detail. The owners are great and extremely friendly. I will be back to experience the other rooms in the future.

We’ve stayed at Ann Bean three previous times and always had a great experience. This time it was fine, but lacking. There was never anyone around to ask questions, which was strange for a B&B. Our room was freezing. There was no thermostat in the room and we needed to use the fireplace, which was fine, except there weren’t any directions on how to use the the remote (it was way more complicated than you’d think). The bathrobes in the room were definitely a size small or medium so if you’re not little they aren’t useable. They were also very scratchy. It was just not a great experience. I am comparing it to our previous stays, so maybe that’s why I was disappointed. I’m not sure who they use to manage the property but the overall experience felt cold and abandoned. Having someone around to refresh your room would have also been nice.

If you are looking for a quiet getaway with courteous and authentic hospitality, look no further than the Ann Bean Mansion. My wife and I celebrated our 18th anniversary in Stillwater and our stay at the ABM B&B in the Solarium Suite was 5 stars from the greeting to the checkout. Room, hospitality, food, people. 5 stars.
