Loved the pool being on the 4th floor for a unique experience. The water was warm. There is also a hot tub and workout room. This is an older hotel but has been recently updated. The windows are able to open for fresh air if desired. Breakfast was typical with a few hot choices. There is an Italian restaurant within the hotel. We did not eat there but it smelled good. Solid choice at this price point.

This is a dog friendly hotel which is excellent however there is no area for dogs to relieve themselves except the small grass spots by the roads. I was concerned about the floors since my dog is old and doesn't do well on hardwood floors so I brought our own rugs. The floor itself did have good traction almost a rubber feel to them. Which was good. The shower did not drain well and the heater in the room was LOUD. The second room we had the heater didn't work at all. My only other complaint was people are not supposed to leave dogs alone in their rooms which someone did down the hall and the dog barked for a couple hours straight. The room itself was clean and beds were fine. A bit hard for me but that's a personal preference. Bathroom was a nice size as well.

The staff here were extremely friendly, check in process was super quick , and the rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable and the pillows were excellent for a good nights sleep. There’s an Italian restaurant attached to the hotel and we didn’t get a chance to dine there but heard it is excellent food and drinks. We went to the restaurant walking distance and the food was amazing and was very inexpensive. The location is perfect and I’d definitely stay here again. The pool and hot tub were clean & perfect temp and it’s on the 4th floor and the view is very cool. For the price this hotel met all my expectations. Will definitely stay here again.

Under renovation kept us off the 1st floor with two dogs. Made it more difficult since 1 is blind and arthritic. Wish we knew before we arrived since it was in my request. One lamp did not work making room darker. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. Overall we had a good stay. Friendly staff. Clean hallways, room and pool. Nice breakfast too. We would return.

Had the Jacuzzi suite room 414. 4th floor. Cozy room set up. Clean. Descent view. Pool with hoops and hot tub. Nostalgic from old Holiday Inn feel. Also fitness center. Good quality. Same floor around the corner. Small arcade was okay. Racing was fun. Could use some updated stuffed animals and goodies in the claw machine yet that's just me being a picky Dad. Staff was so polite. Accomodations for dog with no issues. Breakfast could use improvement on eggs. Yet I cook for a living! All in all give them a 5/5...

Great trip! Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were a little dated but very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Room was good, clean and comfortable no complaints, location is great, girl at the front desk was great, only 3 stars because we only stayed here because they had rooms available, wasn't going to because their rates are considerably higher which is most likely why the others are full. The jets in the hot tub didn't work, and water temp was quite high not to mention there was sand and women's hair tie in the bottom of it, pool looked clean except for the paint wore off on the bottom. Breakfast was a nice selection but not great quality. The fire alarm went off briefly on Saturday afternoon, with no explanation on that, the water went out Saturday night in the place so no toilet in the room, when I called the highlighted number on the card we were given by the front desk to call if there were any issues ,I got the message that I was unauthorized to call that number so just called the main number to find out what was up with the water. If you're going to charge more, then you should be able to back it up.

I had a so called handicap room, hand rails were to low in the tub, tub was slippery, stool was small and not elongated and was not bolted securely to the floor, the door to the room stuck needed repair or replacement. When I come back to Baraboo next year I will not be staying here.
