Unfortunately, my stay at America's Best Value Inn in Lynnwood, Seattle, was disappointing. Cleanliness was lacking, and the staff seemed more annoyed than helpful. Some of the locks around the building didn’t work, which was inconvenient and a security concern. It seemed like management was aware but didn’t do anything about it. The worst part was checkout—when I went to the front desk, the employee wasn’t even there. She was just sitting in the lobby eating and relaxing, which made no sense. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t be coming back.

I wanted to pay for a room for my daughter and her family while they were visiting extended family on their way home from our Thanksgiving together. I was not going to be in the area so needed to take care of payment remotely. Zara and Christy helped me and they were so helpful. I got a bit confused about how to do a couple of things but they patiently and politely helped me through the process even when I got a bit frustrated (not because of anything they did).

My daughter says the room was clean and comfortable, and that everyone she interacted with was very helpful and nice. She did say the breakfast food was pretty much just cereal, but for the price we didn't expect much.

It was such a pleasant surprise to get such exceptional service at a budget hotel.

I pay attention to the service and to the hotel being truly non-smoking. Next to the comfort.
I stayed in this hotel twice and all personnel was welcoming, warm, and friendly. The hotel has no smoke odor and it feels good to be there.
There is a breakfast including bagels, toast, cream cheese, jam, milk, hot and cold cereal,
coffee, tea, yogurt.
The bed was comfortable, the rest of the room was clean and convenient, with small fridge and microwave.
I can't say it was very noisy during the day.
And, when you choose a hotel by the busy road, you can't expect it to be quiet.
I'll be happy to stay there again.

Positive: Free breakfast and room was very clean Negative: If you lose your room key or don't return it They charge $5 each key. Make sure to return it. Also was charged a different price than what I booked room for online. Kids 12 and older additional $15 per night per child

Disappointed and Deeply Misled - Extra Charges

I recently stayed at America's Best Values Inn - Lynnwood and was left extremely disappointed by my experience. Even upon check-out, I was never informed that I would be charged for food stains on 1 washcloth and a hand towel in my room, a charge which was done as a fee for a nasty bed cover I asked them to replace and the manager charged me without saying a word. Do your inspection thoroughly this hotels linens are filthy.

This hidden fee was never disclosed to me during my stay. Not only was this unexpected, but I also still don't have the $100 "deposit" held from my account, which is incredibly misleading from the front desk staff who said it would be returned within 3 days.

To make matters worse, when I inquired about this charge, the staff was unhelpful and, frankly, dishonest. I felt misled throughout my stay, as there was no communication regarding their cleaning policies or fees. For a hotel that claims to prioritize guest satisfaction, their practices are anything but transparent. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a straightforward and trustworthy experience. Save your money and find a place that respects its guests!

Me and my daughter and my boyfriend sit at this place for four nights we had paid $100 deposit and they held that all four nights on the very and I wrote every morning I brought the towels out to the main she looked at them everything was great never said a word any of the days we were there, then the last night we come over and it morning comes and I asked about the deposit first off they tell me that it's going to take 5 to 10 business days to receive it back but they don't allow you to use cash also they show me picture of four towels hand towels and a sheet mind you they say these towel they took pictures said that the made it brought that to them to the front desk right after I gave them to her mind you me and her went through them every morning and she put them into the bin and continue cleaning the room there was no problems they took $80 of my deposit now this these pictures they told me were before washing also they were towels that weren't even ours and they don't take after pictures so I was just out $80 of my $100 deposit also the people where there was banging and loud noises upstairs people running down the hall and showers are dirty no the refrigerator wasn't freezing in the top. Carpets for dirty beds were okay and they say they have Continental breakfast well bagels and cream cheese a yogurt banana that's not cut in ital breakfast $123 a night plus $100 deposit to pay for that they also were front desk was polite The gentleman that worked that was the maintenance or manager very rude and disrespectful. I would never go there again and unless you want to get scammed out of your money you shouldn't either. Also their internet was slow and things were broken lampshade light bulbs colored on.

I paid for two days and when I showed, clerk ran my card for deposit, then proceeded to tell me that they can use pay cards that don't have name on them. ( wisely paycheck card). I get it, and handed a new card. He then charged me for 2 nights and 100 deposit. I stayed there my 2 nights and left early on last day. Staff was not willing to check room before I left. A couple hours later I get a notification from back that card was ran again. This time for 500. I call and I am told I messed room up and was being charged. I am a 40 year old female that is 5foot 1 and 130lb. He telling me furniture was damaged and that there is a stained towl. I disagreeded and informed him the char was all ready damaged and that is incorrect. After all said and done, hotel refused to return any of my money. Left my bank with less then 50 dallors. Don't go here and don't get rippled off. The room was dirty and there was stuff all over walls but I cleaned it and was going to move on with life, but decided that pp should know what kind of company they are to beware of them stealing money.

Positive: Nothing. Negative: How the manager decided to not allow reschedule booking dates dec22 on dec22 instead of reschule to dec28. Yes my mistake, but after I called booking company and hotel, both 2x's. The manager rejected my request. This could have been positive, but ..nope.
