If you ever find yourself at the Spokane Valley Mall, swing by the food court and check out Amen Ethiopian Café! The enticing aromas drew me in. Everything is made fresh and packed with tons of protein—perfect for a hearty meal! The owner is super friendly and accommodating; even though they had no hummus (it was sold out), she whipped some up just for us!

I love that all the food is prepared fresh daily. The portions are generous, so prepare for a food coma afterward! We decided to share the chicken stir-fry and it was a solid 10/10! It was so good that I’m already considering trying the beef next time. Don’t miss out on this gem. They also have a variety of vegan options.

Sometimes the best food is found in unlikely places. Amen Ethiopian in Spokane Valley Mall is such a place, where every ingredient is imbued with love and warm tones of berbere spices that aromatically transport you to a distant culture while you absorb the food, and get a blessing from the chef. Amen has a wide range of proteins such as lentils, beef, chicken, and eggs. The Hibras Combo was pure delight in its range of flavors and textures. I’ve visited hundreds of restaurants over the years, and Amen is one of mg favorite!

Delicious Ethiopian cuisine! This is Hibra's Combo. Everything was delectable. Sambusas come in an order of three, but I ate one in my car on the way home, so it's not pictured. She gave me one beef, one chicken, and one lentil sambusa. That sauce is HEAVEN. I love that this is ready to choose and go in The Spokane Valley Mall. Can I get an "Amen?!" Amen Ethiopian restaurant. Please support this business. They deserve the success and we deserve healthy options. 😋

I stumbled upon this place today, and can't believe such incredible food is just hanging out there in the mall food court. The food in the pic above is their small Hibra's Combo Meal, and they have a larger version for an entire family. Go check them out!

Service is incredibly friendly, and the food is out of this world. Highest possible recommendation!

The better Ethiopian food you’ll find in the Spokane area. I would even say they’re better than Queen of Sheba. Good flavor, nicely seasoned, and with a small kick. I loved the combo and for only 17 bucks it’s certainly worth the money with the amount you get (my partner and I barely finished it all).

This was spectacular. If you haven't tried it, you must. The food was delivered hot, the chicken was tender and spicy, the injera was sour and perfect. I will be back.

Great Gluten Free option! Can be made without being spicy hot and still be delicious and loaded with flavor! And the lady there is wonderful! She is so friendly, helpful, and truly kind. I will definitely be going back.

Excellent lentil soup and homemade basil bread. Definitely a nice change from the usual mall fastfood. 4 stars for the mall atmosphere & Christmas decorations 🎄
