We loved it! The cabin fit the setting, surrounded by thick forest and a beautiful lake view (between the trees) out the front window. It was charming inside with everything we might want. Quiet and serene with only 2 cabins available. Perfect after a day trip to Denali, although not especially close to Denali.

We stayed in one of the cabins for one night. It was clean and comfortable. Tina, the owner, is very friendly. She left bagels, muffins, juice, water and an English muffin in the refrigerator for our breakfast. We enjoyed seeing the family of loons on the small lake. The private bedroom is really nice. The loft was neat, but there are no rails and the ladder is steep, so I was a little scared up there! We would recommend staying here if you're in Talkeetna.

Great property and very friendly hosts. Very clean. We loved the cabin in the woods and the amenities. There's only two cabins so would be perfect for a group traveling for your own private retreat. Perfect for a couple of days of relaxation, or even just overnight on the way to Denali or like us, on the way back. Would stay here again when in the neighborhood. It's situated right next to a beautiful pond that has a canoe the owner said we could use. Signs of moose literally right outside the door.

We stayed at the Alpaca Cabins in August. What a pleasant surprise. There are only 2 cabins and we booked them both. It was like having our own litter private resort. It sits on a pond out in the woods. There was a firepit and barbeque for our use. The cabins were furnished very nicely and quite clean. The owner leaves a continental breakfast of bagels, muffin and english muffins for her guests. Along with coffee, orange juice, water and hot chocolate. Our only regret was that we had only booked for 1 night and talked about coming back and staying for a week. What a hidden gem in Alaska.

We were treated to an amazing two days at the Alpaca Cabins outside of Talkeetna, Alaska. We were greeted by owner Tina upon our arrival. Tina informed us about the amenities and things to do in the area like hiking, site seeing and dining. She had lived there for many .years and was a great source of information. ||The cabins were beautiful and were well kept up. They overlooked a small lake and there were several moose that came through the area. The muffins, toast, bagels, fruit bottled water and juices were nicely stocked in the refrigerator. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate were also available. ||What made this place was Tina and her love of the area. We will be back.

My husband and I along with our brother- and sister-in-law stayed in the two cabins last July for two nights. The cabins were clean and comfortable and the location by the lake was pretty and convenient to town. The owner Tina was very nice and helpful and stocked each frig with continental breakfast. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Just off the main road on the way to Talkeetna are these 2 little cabins with your own private lake. Very comfortable place to rest and sleep and have a few cocktails( stopped at Denali Brewing Co)about 3 minutes away and enjoy the great outdoors. Very delightful, she provided us water, orange juice & muffins for the morning. Relaxing & clean.

This cabin is secluded and overlooks a small pond/lake. Wild life is abundant in the area and the cabin is immaculately kept. There is a little kitchenette area and seating area. Additionally, there is a ladder which leads to a loft bed. Fortunately there are screens on the windows because the mosquitoes in Alaska during the summer are a nuisance. This is a beautiful and quiet place to stay.
