We had a great day on the Sea Mist, an amazing home run all around! Super first class boat, amazing accommodations, fun/friendly team (Jeff, Kayla, Laura), off the chart food/drinks with a Michelin chef (Laura), and stunning scenery and chill days in Blackstone Bay and Prince of William Sound. Can’t say enough about the experience of a great Alaskan team, years on the water, and top-chef culinary skill and hospitality with a smile. We’ve traveled lots but trust me, you can’t do better than Jeff, Kayla, and Laura. Home run and I strongly strongly recommend!

The Sea Mist brings a new level of luxury to vacation. This trip is not your average trip, this experience will fill a spot in your soul. That is rare to find in any vacation and rare to find in life.
Before the trip you will have amazing communication with Chelsea who starts the ball rolling on your preferences. (Not just the usual but down to how you like your coffee.) Captain Jeff becomes a friend before you even step foot on his yacht, answering random packing questions and giving suggestions that truly hit the mark on making your trip better. From start to finish you are treated with white glove 5 star service. Captain Jeff has truly become an ambassador of providing luxury yachting service. His safety, navigating, knowledge, patience, and excitement is on a new level! He kept me informed on how long we would have at a certain spot so I didn't have that anxiety of feeling rushed and here's the kicker... if I wanted longer in one spot he would just know and would give me the option to stay longer but lunch would be served while moving to make up on time. He is not a snobby know it all Captain that is on a power trip which is what you usually get. He is a down to earth honest guy that you can relate with that will have you laughing and feeling like you're with an old friend while also staying professional. Kate is your stewardess for the week and she is phenomenal! Every need and want is taken care of before you even think of it. She is constantly cleaning and wiping every surface down even outside when it's raining! There is absolutely no concern of Covid-19 because not even a germ or speck of dust will ever make it on this yacht with her around. Her ability to go behind the scenes to make your trip better was like no other. I thought she was like a ninja because I would be up looking at a glacier and having lunch and when I would run to my room for something I would be shocked by everything being made up with personal touches and my laundry folded neatly on my bed. Before I would even think about thirst she would be right there with my favorite soda or offering coffee and you don't even see her refill your glass. She would have the top deck wiped down and table immaculately set for lunch before I even thought of the idea of eating up there to enjoy the view during lunch. The table setting was different for every meal which is impressive how she would match the mood every time. She was delightful to talk to and maintained professionalism at all times. Chef Matt didn't delight just your taste buds but your mind! Right off the bat you know that he has had a lifetime of experience with food and people! He has traveled the world and brings his travels into his food. I am a very picky eater and on top of that I am gluten free and dairy free which is a chefs nightmare. He was open with his skills and so patient in teaching me how to make a recipe, it was like having your own personal chef class anytime you want. He is truly in a class of his own with knowing his craft and has made food presentation an art as every plate was a masterpiece. Where this entire crew really excels is their ability to read people. When we wanted privacy we never had to ask, it was like they could sense it and all of a sudden disappear into the background and when we were looking for conversation one of them appeared with an exciting and stimulating conversation starter. . I could write a book on the views that get imprinted into your soul so I will keep this part short but I guarantee you will see sites that will be yours alone and no other human on earth will experience, there will be a glacier caving that is meant only for you to see, a sea lion that looks over at you perched on a floating ice berg, an otter laying on it's back slowly moving along with you, a bear going about it's business that no one else on the boat notices (except for Jeff... he seems to just know where they are), seals all over the place swimming with the elegant jelly fish and I can't even put the landscape views into words.

Our team was so blessed to experience a day with Captain Jeff on the Sea Mist Yacht. Truly one of the most unique and rewarding Alaskan experiences any of us have had. Up close to Blackstone Glacier, Whales. Seals, Sea Otters and more and the Yacht itself is 100% beyond expectations of top notch. Every detail is thought of.

This was a trip of a lifetime in 2 days. My only regret is not listening to Captain Jeff and going for longer. First of all- This amazing Alaskan experience is only a 1.5 hour drive from Anchorage. Once through the Whittier tunnel- we were met at the dock and on the way to Blackstone Glacier within the hour. Private chef and Steward on board we're amazing! Tons of snacks, wine, honestly everything you could want and more. My friends and I felt like royalty and yet it was totally comfortable and unpretentious. The Yacht itself was so incredible comfortable- every detail thought through and it was just the perfect way to experience the awe of Alaska. From dining in front of Blackstone Glacier, to hiking on a remote island and kayaking in total peace and tranquility- There's no way it could have been better. We also saw whales, sea otters, seals and Bald Eagles. Did I mention every meal was cooked by a private chef and PERFECT. We're heading back for another trip before the season ends.

Our three night adventure was incredible! The views are breathtaking and the SeaMist is a gorgeous yacht! We were extremely lucky with beautiful weather and Kate and Jeff were so hospitable. We got to kayak and hike and spend some time in the sunshine. I highly recommend you take the opportunity to enjoy Alaska from the SeaMist. If you are a high level executive or you entertain out of town guests this is the trip you need to book!

To be able to go out on beautiful Prince William Sound on a gorgeous yacht with an experienced captain, attentive crew and fabulous chef is just simply one of the best experiences in the world! The yacht is impeccable, the scenery is incomparable and the attention is mind-blowing. We enjoyed a 2 mile hike in stunning Surprise Cove,, an incredible kayaking experience and the very finest in food and wine! 3 days & nights was not enough...I didn’t want to get off the boat! Captain Jeff Gorton, Stew Kate & Chef Suzette are simply the best. We will be back!

We took a family trip (2 adults, 3 teens) on the SEA MIST in June of 2023 and had a wonderful and memorable time. The food was amazing. The staff was great. We were able to see some amazing things that we would not have been able to see on a large boat or by car, and were able to customize the trip to our interests/needs.
