This is the best kept secret on the Kenai!! We’ve been going for years and have never had any issues here. The hosts are so friendly and kind! All right out to the water and fish or just hang out on the dock and enjoy the wildlife!!! See ya next year!!!!!!

Just had a brother’s fishing retreat, and we stayed here. Tamera and Bob were exceptionally accommodating. One brother had a flight get cancelled on him. Long story short, we didn’t make it to the lodge until 2am. Tamera was easy to reach and communicate with. Our situation was definitely an inconvenience for everyone, and they handled it with the grace and understanding that would only be expected from a close friend. The accommodations were perfect. That shower was perfect after a long day of fishing. What a beautiful area, beautiful property, and beautiful people. I highly recommend. It is clear that Tamera and Bob have put a lot of thought and care into what they do, and they are going the extra mile to make your vacation experience a true representation of the bounty of Alaska. We stayed for a week on the Kenai peninsula, and this was our favorite stay by far. The dock/deck right on the river are so lovely, and the rooms were far more comfortable and homey than I expected. We grilled during our stay, and when we realized we didn't have any oil or butter, the hosts gave us both! They arranged a great salmon fishing guide for us & communicated promptly. One thing I would recommend: if you are planning a trip with more than fishing planned, stay here last. We made the newbie mistake of fishing first & then doing other tourist activities in Seward, and our other stays definitely didn't have the grill/freezer setup we were spoiled with at Riverview. Next time, we'll fish last and stay at Riverview for *several* nights instead of just one.

I stayed for 3 nights over 4th of July to make sure I was away for any craziness, and the room, property and owners are top-notch. I had a kitchenette and everything was great. The bed is luxury, the kitchenette has everything I needed, and the bathroom was stocked and clean. The property is very quiet near the end of a road right on the river. The access has a great fishing spot near enough to the mouth of the river that you can take advantage of the tide changes. They have a nice firepit area, riverside seating and a nicely shaded natural setting. The owners are there for anything you need, but not hovering. The wifi is strong and the dark shades work well for midnuight sun. Perfect and I'll be back next summer.

Bob and Tamera were amazing. They went above and beyond to help us. We got a flat tire and Bob immediately came out and took our car to his garage and used his tools to get us back on the road. Tamera helped us by printing some papers out for us that we needed. Bob helped us catch some fish on the river, supplying fishing poles, bait and good conversation and company. Amazing people and beautiful property right on the river.

The Alaska Riverview lodge was the perfect HQ for our August fishing trip. |||| I’d never been to Alaska and I reached out to several lodges / cabins in the Soldotna and Kenai area to try to put this trip together. Luckily, I got in touch with Tamara, who talked me through the whole thing, recommended the perfect cabin (with an AWESOME view of the river from the huge deck) and even set up a float trip and an unbelievable fly-in trip for us. She made it very easy, and was a completely perfect hostess.||||The cabin we rented comfortably slept 3 big guys (who snore like chainsaws), and could easily accommodate a few more folks. It had a full kitchen and a microwave and a big ‘fridge. There was even a grill on the deck that we used to cook one of the silvers that we yanked out of the river just a few hours earlier. ||||I can’t imagine a better lodging experience, give this place a try when you’re there, you definitely won’t regret it 👍

Beautiful cabin right on the river with everything you need to just drop your luggage and feel right at home. Quiet neighborhood with a private dock you can fish right off of with poles provided by the homeowner. The owners were amazing when they found my lost favorite earing and mailed it to me. High reccomendations. We will be back.
