Alaska River Cabin is a slice of heaven and run by the greatest guy you will ever meet! Our group has been going to this wonderful fishing camp since 2014. We will be heading back this August and we are all excited. We are from Ohio so we would not be booking here if it was not worth the trip. The housing facilities are great, the property is first class, the amenities are superb and the fishing is the best experience I have ever had in the world. On top of it all Mr. Gary Bennett, Sr., is a wonderful host. Going back to Alaska River Cabins brings a smile to all of our faces because we truly love our experience at this wonderful facility. Do yourself a favor and book some time here.

This is the best place to go in Sdotna for fishing reds. Mr. Gary (the owner) welcomes everyone as family. He provides everything you need to fish... waders, poles, eye protection and free tutoring from retired military guys if you want! They'll teach you how to filet your salmon and vacuum packing and flash freezing is all there... all included. We went every year for 7 years until we finally decided to buy a cabin across the river in Sterling. I can't say enough good about the place... he has a while outdoor kitchen, smokers, and the fire pit is the best... covered too for the days with Alaskan liquid sunshine! It's the best vacation ever!!
