This was our second year staying with friends, and we will be back again. Such a beautiful and unique resort with everything you could possibly need. No detail goes unnoticed. It's a big lodge with a lot of space, yet they've managed to make it cozy with all the personal touches. The location and views are breathtaking. One of a kind, home away from home. I highly recommend.

This is the third time I have stayed here. It is always a great experience. The rooms are unique. Everything is furnished uniquely. The refrigerators are well stocked. The kitchen is well stocked and very spacious. They have jacuzzi tubs, sauna and a hot tub||

What a beautiful retreat. We stayed in the Mountain View Suite which lived up to its name with a private deck that provided panoramic views of the mountains, as well as a luxurious bathroom suite with a jet soaking tub. Every detail of the construction and woodworking in the cabin were exceptional, you rarely see such an authentic log cabin with modern amenities. Thanks for a true getaway!

This lodge is tops! It is located in a beautiful wooded area with a gorgeous mountain view, yet feels far from "civilization" though it is actually close to stores and such. The lodge itself is amazing inside and out. The rooms are lovely and are very thoughtfully equipped with "everything a person could need", 😊 presented in a high class manner. I am extremely impressed with the cleanliness and excellence of it all. It seems so versatile for many types of groups and occasions. I couldn't rate it higher than 5 or I would!

We had our family reunion at Knotty Pine, and it was a wonderful experience. We loved hanging out in the rec room and living area, and enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen. We stayed in Roper’s Retreat and were very happy with our bedroom and huge bath. Everything was so clean and tasteful. We would highly recommend Knotty Pine B and B to anyone looking for a lovely and peaceful getaway.

It's so-so here. Rooms are tiny and you share a bathroom with random strangers. Seriously - smallest cabin rooms ever. NO room for suitcases. No idea why they made these rooms so tiny and crammed everyone into one bathroom when there is so much room.

Also - this is NOT a BNB. They leave random food out for you to make yourself.

It is clean. But wouldn't recommend.

Writing this here because they DELETE Google Reviews. TERRIBLE. First of all, the picture you see here might not be where you stay. They stuck is in an 'overflow' wing away from the main house where we got a TINY cabin not big enough for any suitcases and a shared bathroom with strangers. We didn't know we had a shared bathroom. We had to pee outside several times because the other guests were showering, using the bathroom, etc. Our cabin area was not what we paid for. ||And this isn't a BNB. They leave food out for you to figure it out for yourself.||Misleading. I wouldn't stay here ever again. ||Also - they delete Google reviews, so make sure to read up on the place before you book. We were misled and disappointed.

Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Hospitality:

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful place for two days and had an amazing experience. The owner is incredibly nice and generous. Despite our late arrival at Anchorage Airport around midnight, and the subsequent hour-long drive to the location, he was available at 2 am to guide us through. The house is well-equipped and impeccably clean. We would love to stay at this place again. Highly recommended!
