Ty and his team were outstanding! The guides are very knowledgeable, fun to fish with and took care of every need. They provided an excellent Alaskan fishing experience. The cabins were clean and had everything we needed. Looking forward to next year!

We had an incredible experience at this resort, thanks to Ty and his team. Ty was an excellent host, always treating us like valued guests. He even cooked up some fresh fish for us, which was a delightful touch.
The cabins were spotless and well-organized, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay. The fishing was fantastic every day, and the guides were exceptionally kind and service-minded. They went above and beyond to ensure we had every opportunity to limit out.
One of the standout perks was the fish processing service. The resort handled all the packaging, so all we had to do was bring the boxes home as checked luggage. This made the entire experience seamless and stress-free.

Cannot say enough, good things about Alaska fishing and lodging. Tyland and his son Layton will go above and beyond to make sure you’re having a great trip! They are very welcoming and do make you feel like family. They’ll process your fish for you just like it was their own. I’ve had other guides that make you not feel welcome. These guys definitely aren’t it.

Had the best time fishing with Tyler and his cabins were perfect! One stop shop, we got to in his cabins, go salmon fishing on his boats, he fileted and packed up the fish for us to take home.... and our cabin had a grill so we could cook up our fresh catches of the day! Great location and Tyler was a great host and amazing fishing teacher/ guide! Would highly recommend!

Are you ready to fish? |We had the best trip with Ty and his team, Travis, Hayden, and Layton. We had never fished in the Kenai River before but the experience and knowledge of the team had us comfortable and catching fish in no time. They made sure it was more than just a fishing trip, it was a total experience. Our fish were cleaned, processed, and frozen for the flight home. |The cabins are clean and private with Wi-Fi and television. We will be back, this time with a little experience to see Ty and his team and tackle the Kenai River again.

|These are the words you will hear over and over as the sun is rising on the Kenai River and you are standing knee deep in the water with your fishing pole at the ready. Another epic year with Ty, Travis ,and Hayden whom all go above and beyond to ensure you have an experience you will want to repeat time after time. When that fish is on they will guide, encourage and net that fish for you. Once your limit is caught the fish are expertly fileted, and that's when Layton steps in. He will professionally trim, vacuum pack ,freeze and then box your catch ready for your trip home. Accommodations are clean and comfortable and you have the ability to grill your freshly caught salmon for dinner. Don't hesitate, to book your trip of a lifetime with Ty. We will be back next year for our 7th trip.

This was my second fishing trip with Alaska Fishing and Lodging. Ty and his crew are absolutely amazing. I had promised my two grandsons "when you get old enough" I would take them fishing to Alaska. They are 9 and 11 years old. Ty's focus was on their safety and also ensuring they had "one on one" instruction so they could have an experience of a lifetime. The silvers were running late, so Ty set us up to catch the late run of sockeye. Ty had plenty of very professional additional guides who helped us catch lots of beautiful bright sockeye. Chris and Troy are first class, patient but kept us focused on landing fish.||||Ty set us up for a fly in and it is absolutely the best experience ever. Don't worry about the cost. Treat yourself, along with fabulous fishing (silvers, reds) we watched brown bears feast on the spawning reds and on the return flight we flew over a glacier and enjoyed God's beautiful creation.||||Since there were six of us, we stayed at a house in Soldotna, very near the fishing. The place slept six and had all the possible amenities we could want. ||||Finally, I can't imagine a better price. Ty is running a business and times have been hard during/following Covid. But this is what he loves, Ty gave us a great deal considering the experience we had.||||My sincere thanks to Ty, his son Layton, guides Chris, Tony and Troy for the experience of a lifetime. Don't look any further if you are shopping for a great Alaskan adventure.

We were a little nervous because this was our first fishing trip to Alaska but Ty and his crew were amazing. You could definitely tell that they have a lot of experience doing this. They had everything lined up and ready to go when we got there and he seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had a great experience. He went out of his way to make sure that my 8-yr. old son was able to have fun and be safe. His gear and equipment was is great shape. The cabins were clean and had everything we needed. Communication was excellent. Pricing was transparent and well worth the experiences we had and memories we made. Only complaint was that we only booked 3 days; next time I'd definitely consider a longer trip.
