I wish I could’ve experienced all of the wonderful things that others are saying about the kayak combo trip, except, I woke up the morning of with debilitating cramps due to Endometriosis and could not attend. You’d think there would be some kind of emergency day-of-sick policy, but I’m here to tell you there is not. No chance of any kind of refund possible, I called and was told I had to cancel within 14 days. Not possible for this situation as I woke up the morning of in severe pain. I offered to provide doctors notes stating my diagnosis, but they still brushed me off. Is this company ran by a man? Because any woman would understand and try to assist in some humanized way. Especially when I traveled from Pennsylvania, excited for this excursion. Oh well, guess I’m just out $250 dollars
*UPDATE: I have been fully refunded. Thank you for making this right!

Once in a lifetime experience, so much wildlife spotting including the giant humpback whales(mom and a calf), otters, dal sheep,starfish, jellyfish etc., closer look to the glaciers . Amazing crew but not a fan of the food provided in the cruise.

from the booking (thanks Arizona on the phone) to the staff on-location to the deck crew/captain.
and the sights were mind-blowing.
captain (Sherry) was great. was patient - waited long enough for us to see the wildlife, spot-on great narration, talkative (in a good way). the staff on-board made everything better
as i started to get a little sea-sick, they got me a bag, told me where to sit, checked on me throughout the trip. special thanks to Connor.

We booked our entire Alaskan trip with The Alaska Collection by Pursuit. I mainly worked with Sharilyn and Arizona. Such nice people! Both were very quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had via email. They took care of everything! It was so nice to just tell someone a general idea of what we wanted to do and then have it all planned for us. From finding hotels with shuttles to picking excursions, everything was simple! If we come back to Alaska or go to another destination with Pursuit tours, we will definitely book through them again!

Our cruise to Alaska was cancelled again! We decided to head up anyway. Found this website and spoke with the most delightful lady - Katie.

We booked a week stay. Katie took care of EVERYTHING - hotel arrival in Anchorage, train to Seward, hotel in Seward, excursions from fjord trips to fishing to dog sledding - absolutely everything.

I had been trying to shop everything out on my own. By using this service we saved about $400 - BUT - we had better accommodations!

So we ended up with an experience similar to our cruise (no meals included). A wonderful place to stay, wonderful daily activities, and no hassels!

Our initial booking experience was great. We booked about two months from our planned travel date. So options were kinda limited from what we were told. We found some of the accommodations sub par to others offered in the area we visited. I believe this company has “relationships” with most of the companies they book with. We called to see if we can shorten our stay and I received a call from a “supervisor” of reservations. She was very short and not helpful at all. She said we can’t do anything everything is non refundable and it’s booked full. After paying almost 7k total for just our travel/accommodations in Alaska I felt like we were no longer cared for. Please either use another company or book your itinerary yourself.

We accidentally reserved the same tour( Denali backcountry tour) for two days back to back on June 16th and 17th 2021, each for over 1000$. When realized about our mistake, I called and I asked if they can apply at least partial refund or transfer the fund to multiple other tours/hotel reservations we had through Alaska collection on this trip. The lady who picked up the phone and claimed she is the supervisor for reservation(? Debora Dunn) declined any refund and stated" This is your mistake and you have to pay for it"
Never seen such an unprofessional response for a costumer who has reserved over 5K of tours/hotels on their trip for the family of five.
I have to say that the tour was amazing and that's the only reason I am giving them the one star.
