My asada burrito was good, but not very flavorful or interesting. I wasn't disappointed, but it was just okay. The salsa wasn't great either; I was hoping it'd save the boring burrito with some fresh flavors. I don't think I'll be back, but I admit that I'm a bit of a food snob so don't let my review scare anyone away from a solid 4-star meal here.

I really wanted to like this place more now that they said it's under new management and they claimed to have revamped the menu and the recipes, but I don't think so. It literally let us down the same way it has in the past. I've tried and tried and tried to like it here, but we just can't. The flavor is lacking. The ingredients are lacking. I always feel like I wasted money going here. I won't go again.

Tables were dirty. Food tasted decent though there was way too much cilantro on the tacos. Portions were very small, especially for the price. It was kind of expensive. We will most likely not return. Birria El Sazon has better food, portions and price. Bummer because this one is so close but honestly not worth the cost.

After getting take out at this location it was honestly god moving. I didn’t expect much just some tacos but that all changed when we brought the warm, carefully wrapped plate home. As we sat outside and unwrapped the plate of el tacos the birds that surrounded the backyard went quite, the winds stopped, and the sun shined directly onto this plate as if a sign from god saying things were going to be okay. I proceeded to eat said taco and I immediately was hit with a dose of nostalgia, it tasted as if my abuela made the meal which is something I’ve missed for many years. It’s taste and presentation brought myself back to a much simpler time as a very good meal should. Highly recommended which is a rarity from myself.

Very, very good tacos! The quesobirria tacos were very flavorful as well as the consomé. The queso was very satisfying and had a long & melty pull after each bite. My husband had the asada tacos and they were great as well. The provided salsas (avocado, green tomatillo, and red) were good and provided in large squeeze bottles at our table. I just wish they were a bit spicier. The waitress was very friendly and our food came out hot and fast! Good amount of food for the price. Will return!

Little restaurant attached to the gas station that provides indoor seating. I ordered quesabirria tacos and they were huge and stuffed! The taste was great the consume was delicious. Glad I stopped by here to eat lunch. The two ladies working were friendly.

A great place for the standard Tacos and Burritos, but even better if you are looking for traditional Mexican food your abeula would serve. I stopped in for some Pozole tonight. Rich, flavorful broth with big chunks of meat, generously garnished with cabbage, onions, cilantro and that squeeze of lime to brighten it all up. Perfect for a cold night. Welcome to the neighborhood Tacos Jose Restaurant, we're better off with you.

The food is hand's down the best Mexican food I've ever eaten in the States.... and maybe Mexico! The meat is so flavorful and the texture is amazing. I was VERY impressed. It takes a lot for me to write a review. And it wasn't just the food, as if that wasn't enough. The people are so friendly and helpful. It felt like eating with family. My husband says we need to make eating here a weekly thing.
