I was there in the off-season because I had a work project with the National Park Service. I brought my husband and sons along just for a little getaway. Even though we weren't able to do any activities this time, we really enjoyed our cabin with a hot tub. The boys loved the loft bedroom. I just can't say enough about the staff and especially the owner Jerry, who helped me immensely with access to a remote site within the park that I had to survey. We are already planning our return trip for the summer when we can take advantage of all the many activities.

My husband and I visited Ace Adventure Resort today and it was an amazing experience zip lining even though I am afraid of height. Liz and her team were extremely patient and encouraging throughout the trip. Yes, I will do it all over again except the last part 🙂

Great place to stay for family fun. Plenty of activities for kids, teens, and parents! The whitewater rafting is a major attraction but I always enjoy the rock climbing as well. The water toys and zip line are wonderful for kids. The bar often has great music and an inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We stayed in a one bedroom cabin- enough room for my husband and myself. Hot tub was great. We also ziplined. This was our first time, the guides were amazing-funny and nice. We ate at The Lost Paddle- pizza night was delicious and you had plenty of food. They also had trivia that night which was fun and something different. We hiked and explored the area. It is a must for everyone to do at least once. They had so much more to do and in the summer month this would be so good for a family. One of our best trips.

We had an amazing time soaring through the trees on the zip line tour. Our guides Liz, Oliver, and Dakota kept us safe and ensured we had a fun time! The views from above the canopy and the gorge are breathtaking. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a scenic adventure!

We had the best time ever on the water! Ne was amazing! She was an incredible guide and deserves a raise! She worked hard taught us about the waters and the different rock names and not 1 of us fell out of our boat! I was nervous at first to take my 12 year old down the Gauley but she made it the best and most amazing experience possible! We will definitely be back!

Our guide Johnny was absolutely outstanding! His expertise and enthusiasm truly made the experience unforgettable. The entire white water rafting trip exceeded our expectations—we had an amazing time from start to finish! The staff was not only super cool and friendly but incredibly knowledgeable, making us feel safe and well-prepared. We can’t wait to come back next year for the two-day trip! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an epic outdoor adventure!
