Great hotel and nice bar area & drinks. Bartender was great and awesome customer service. Our server Jess in the morning for breakfast however wasn't great. I'd asked her to please write down our order which she attempted to so she wouldn't forget (she got my husbands order wrong-different item), mine was not specified as asked either) and the food was very greasy when I'd specified that to her as well. She failed to communicate to chef. She was nice but needs to be more attentive as it wasn't a good experience. Rooms are decent/nice/minimal. Bed was comfortable and had a nice view of the city.

You cannot beat the view. River front location. Walking through, you can see no expense was spared. All of the decorations make you stop and appreciate them before moving on to your room, which is clean and modern. The staff are polite and professional, we were greeted right away. Judy at the restaurant was very sweet. The food at the restaurant was excellent. I had the blackened cod and my husband had the French dip (see photos). Food price was surprisingly reasonable considering the quality you get. Highly recommend the AC for a high end hotel experience.

This was my husband and my first time at this hotel, and it’s beautiful. Lovely atmosphere, great bar with a live singer songwriter musician while we were there enjoying a drink in the lobby. Every staff interaction we had was phenomenal.
But I have to say, what really started our stay off right was our check in. The very first interaction we had was Rita, and that was the nicest hotel check we’ve ever had. What a peach she is! Giving us options, so helpful, very personable and friendly all while maintaining professionalism. I rarely write these, but felt compelled to shout her out! We will definitely be back!

This is a long one...

Front desk and engineering personnel were WONDERFUL, and seemed to genuinely care. My room seemed good at first. Then around 4am my first night of two, the motion sensor for the lighting system started clicking incessantly. I cried a little for my lack of sleep. This went on for hours, including when I turned lights on manually hoping to "reset" things somehow - the lights actually flashed along with the clicking. Then it would stop just long enough for me to almost fall asleep before resuming. Front desk was unable to help when I finally called around 5am. I was unproductive at a large company meeting/training the next day. My room could not be switched for the second night due to full booking.

Staff would've gotten 5 stars, but the first front desk person who promised they'd send someone after engineering arrived for the day did not, nor did the person I spoke with in the morning as I left the hotel for my work function. Someone was finally sent up after I returned and inquired again around 5:30pm.

Paul was great, as were the two concierge staff i worked with that evening. Paul reset everything in the room, said he'd be around until 10pm. I went to a work dinner nearby, returned about 9:30pm, verified at the front desk someone (Paul) was still around. 9:40pm, back in my room, the clicking & light flashing resumed. Called front desk - Paul returned. Reset some things without luck. I finally asked if he could cover the main motion sensor- he said yes, left & came back with a wash cloth and some masking tape - problem solved, and I slept mostly decently the second night.

Street noise was louder in the room both nights than I have experienced in other hotels and on lower floors, which would've been more tolerable if my first night weren't so rough. Side note, a couple of peers who attended the same function as me & stayed in hotel experienced the lights turning on a couple of times when rolling over in bed. WTF. Super sensitive motion detection isn't a great choice for sleeping quarters.

I really hope my company doesn't get a parking bill since that was supposed to be comped for my trouble, yet the gate still tried to make me pay on my way out. Gate was opened without paying when I tried the call button, though no one answered to confirm either way.

I should've asked for a comped night vs. free parking since my company lost performance out of me the main day of this event, and I was miserable the whole day.

TLDR: lighting system kept me awake, street noise wasn't helpful, most of the staff were helpful & empathetic, I'll call if my company card is charged for parking that should be comped.

The room was nice and comfy. Nice view of the Columbia River. Nothing over the top. However we had Dinner in the hotel and it was HORRIBLE small portion tough meat and no flaver. The waitress was nice but abscent. Ordered a drink and it was tiny, not sure what the flaver was but not like any Margaritta Ive had before and the bar tender was a grump.

Got a suite which had a good view but the room itself was marginal. Austere room. Very noisy ventilation system. Gave us the ADA room which I do not appreciate. The check in desk person was not honest with us. Nice lobby. Serve coffee in lobby 24 hrs and that is nice. The restaurant had good breakfast with a really good server. They had NYE music and a lively bar.

The service was very friendly. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were well kept. We enjoyed the service at the lounge area. The only disappointment was the dust on every chair and table outside, but the construction outside (in the area) likely makes it impossible to keep clean or control. It's been a few months since we stayed here.

Chef Tanner made excellent happy hour selections for a Vegan Happy Hour we were invited to attend tonight. We had ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms and the White Bean Toast. Everyone was impressed with what they had ordered as all selections tasted amazing and the presentation was outstanding, too. Other choices were Brussel Sprouts with Pickled Vegetables, Chili Crisp Green Beans, Quinoa and White Beans Burger, Southwestern Stuffed Pepper and Pickled Beet Risotto. We are waiting for a Chocolate Lava Cake and Apple Crisp for dessert which we are sure will be outstanding!!! We were a party of 25 and our servers were friendly, knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service.
