This hotel room we stayed in (the studio looking room) was designed by a man that has never met a woman before in his life it seems. The room had HORRIBLE lighting, barely any mirrors, the TV was not working and the alarm clock Bluetooth was not working. There is not enough plug ins and it was just a horrible experience. The staff is nice but the rooms are not meant for a women trying to get ready for a birthday dinner. Very disappointed and will not come back.

We stayed here for the Seahawks game and it was wonderful. My husband and I travel extensively for both business and leisure and often stay in AC Hotels throughout the US and Europe. AC Hotel Seattle Downtown did not disappoint and well exceeded our expectations. ||The lobby was sleek and current as well as inviting. I could see it as a great post-work gathering destination. There was ample seating, both providing intimate and communal spaces. ||The room was cozy, its size was efficient and the minimalist decor was both chic and comfortable. Skip the shower toiletries as shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were provided, as always. Yummy smells too. I forgot to pack a shower cap but the gentleman at reception was more than happy to oblige. ||We treated ourselves to the European style breakfast buffet which offered top-notch cured meats, cheeses and bread as well as the usual brunch offerings. Their a la carte options, included in the buffet charge, rivaled neighboring brunch hot spots, well-worth the $22 charge. All drinks, milk, coffee, juices, and espresso were also included. ||Loved the special touch of the complimentary lavender pouches in the lobby. I placed it amongst the pillows to help me relax. ||The AC Hotel Seattle is a great addition to the city’s hospitality scene and we can’t wait to have another Seahawks weekend stay here.

Honestly… everything was perfect. The ladies who worked the evening of 12/19 and morning of 12/20… you rock!!! The rooms were extremely clean, beds were so comfy, I felt safe, the hotel was spotless & gorgeous, fresh baked cookies, amazing staff, location was top notch. 10/10 if I could give more stars! We will be back next time I visit family in WA.

Food in the bar used to be quite good. It's gone downhill in the last few years. Latest example, they took their flour-free chocolate cake off the menu. The one thing you never take off your menu is the all chocolate item, right?

Definitely the worst recommendation from my company. To wash your hands, you have to walk all the way to the bedroom area after using the bathroom 🤣. The bathroom fan doesn’t have a switch to turn it on, it’s just always off. Not sure what they were thinking during the design process. I booked a 6-night stay, and when I checked out, the receptionist gave me two separate bills: one for 5 nights and another for the single night. When I asked why I couldn’t get a combined bill for all 6 nights, the receptionist had no explanation. On top of that, they charged me 1.5 times the pre-authorization amount initially and then asked for payment for the 6th night separately. The only redeeming factor is the location, which is convenient. That’s about it.

One of the front desk people at this hotel was pretty rude and unprofessional. The staff completely failed to communicate my Platinum benefits, including room upgrades, included breakfast, or the $10 daily food and beverage credit when I checked in. During check in, When I asked about an upgrade, I was told I should have requested it earlier , despite this being a standard benefit offered proactively at other Marriott properties. Even worse, they claimed guests “don’t want their membership status mentioned,” which is absurd and insulting.

I also discovered days into my stay, through an elevator advertisement, that my room rate included breakfast—information or the platinum welcome bonus, the front desk should have provided at check-in. To top it off, when I reported a WiFi issue, they brushed me off and told me to call an unreachable number to resolve it myself.

The dismissive and unhelpful attitude of the front desk staff completely ruined my experience. This level of service is disgraceful for a Marriott property and far below expectations. Avoid this hotel if you value respect and basic hospitality.

I am a marriott gold star elite member, when I checked in. the front desk person gave me a room that was super tiny and there was scaffolding in front of my windows with workers on the scaffolding. I mean so close I felt like they were in my room. I had to go back down to the front desk and request a new room. Unless a hotel is completely sold out I would not expect that. They were not sold out and I was given a better and bigger room. The rooms with the scaffolding in front of the windows should not have been made available by management as an available room and never offered up to me. I was also not offered an upgrade, which should have been offered to me as a gold elite member. As a frequent marriott person I was disappointed by this experience.
The breakfast spread was excellent. The lack of drawers to store my clothes was disappointing. There's literally 2 draws and 8 hangers to hang clothes. The heater in the room is loud and very disturbing my sleep. In summary it is a great location but disappointing in a few areas.
The coffee bar in the lobby is nice as well as the bar which opens 4pm with a tapas menu.

Luckily job paid for this and I am out no personal money, tune of over $400 for one mid week night. Marriott should apologize to my employers' booking agent for this junk. Will be informing my employer to remove this from a list of potential lodging.Clean by janitor is the only decent part.

Shower is just a drain in floor at center of shower, no actual enclosure or barrier, water runs out into hall and against wall, there is peeling wall paper.

The bathroom fan has no turn on switch and is merely passive, as in its off always. Additionally, the bathroom door is slide barn style, all steam and everything else the passive fan does nothing for goes into room.

Thermostat is not accurate.

Front door blocks about zero sound from hall and can also clearly hear the elevator, I'm hard of hearing, Marriot really achieved something here.

Curtains don't entirely close because one side if falling off clips.

Beds just are disappointing, I'm less than 6 feet tall but either my feet or my head are on the sloping ends of the mattress. The mattress also sinks in and says bye to any ergonomics.

Almost forgot the light switches sometimes don't work, and they are placed oddly.
