Megan and her team are INCREDIBLE! From contracting, menu choices, site visit, and day of activation, this team is on point and does not disappoint!

The team, lead by Petr, came out to a home in LA Jolla where we hosted a high end awards viewing party - the appetizer bites were so fresh, delectable, its as if it was coming straight from their onsite kitchen to the display trays all evening - even though they were catering to a private home. Hard feat to pull off, but no sweat for the Abbey Catering Team.

We started working with Megan early into our engagement and knew right after our tour with her this was the place and the team we were meant to work with for our wedding. We used Abbey Catering for our wedding reception at The Thursday Club and they did amazing! All of our guests still keep telling us how great the food tasted, and everyone we worked with made the planning so easy! Our day-of Coordinator Petr did a fantastic job and was so helpful along the way. He always responded to my emails incredibly quick and made sure to keep in contact with all of my other vendors to keep everything organized, which is hard for a busy bride! Petr and his team did an amazing job in setting up my decorations too and truly made my vision come to life! My husband and I can’t recommend this team more!

From the moment we requested a quote from the Abbey for full package catering services we have enjoyed a wonderful experience. Communication was effortless with both Will Konecki and Federico Tomas. They both took time to answer countless questions during my initial planning phase beginning about a year prior to our wedding date.

In addition to thorough and prompt communication, Federico set up a private tasting for my husband and I, and was a joy to be around. He was easy to talk to, gave honest advice, and was extremely knowledgable on working with us to set a timeline. This was especially important for us due to living out of state and being unable to attend the a group tasting night. Federico also met with us via Zoom and patiently addressed any questions we had.

Fast forward to wedding month! I was originally introduced to Chuck Ferrante via email. Even through text, he came across warm, friendly, and professional. This was even more apparent when we met in person for the walk through of the venue layout. He was extremely efficient and worked with our wedding vendor (Martin Johnson House) to ensure our needs were met and our big day would run smoothly. He gathered necessary information from us and promptly initiated communication with all our vendors with a completed layout and timeline. He included ,me on every update that came up and ensured constant communication with all vendors. He also had an obvious rapport built with his fellow Abbey staff as well as all vendors we used.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. This is in huge part thanks to Chuck, but also all our vendors who contracted through the Abbey. These included DJ Mike Martinez, Deb Shields, Timecode Media (Tareq and Makaela), Emerald and Ivy, and Sugar Bear Provisions. Chuck made sure the entire day ran smoothly, despite the bride and bridal party running behind, and ensured everyone knew what to do and when. He also made sure my husband and I had food and drink throughout the day. He put everyone at ease and truly felt like a good friend we’d known for years.

The service provided by the servers and bartenders was exceptional. Several servers saw to it that my husband and I had access to appetizers during cocktail hour even though we were taking family photos. The drinks were strong, elevated, and made quickly. I don’t recall ever seeing a line form at the bar.

Lastly, the food provided by the Abbey was exquisite. I got lots of feedback about this from guests. The main chef made sure to meet all our guests’ dietary needs while maintaining a high quality of dishes. Our main dish which included short ribs and breaded chicken was extremely flavorful and served hot and fresh.

The Abbey will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for ensuring our day was beyond perfect. You truly provide an outstanding service.

My husband and I were absolutely blown away by how WONDERFUL The Abbey Catering and Federico and his team were for our wedding day. We are almost 3 months from our wedding and we still have friends and family telling us how amazing the food was! Every single appetizer was delicious, the presentation was perfection and the meal was truly astounding -- no small feat for 140 guests eating at the same time.
