AAA sent C&D Towing to me as a contractor for battery replacement services. C&D installed a new battery for $218.00. Everything seemed fine at first. When I took my car to a BMW mechanic to reset the battery, he immediately noticed the replacement wasn't the correct type. I later confirmed this with other mechanics, multiple auto parts stores, and two dealerships.

I requested a replacement battery from AAA. Lo and behold, AAA dispatched the same technician/company to me the next day. The technician stated the battery was the appropriate size and type because "it's what came up under the search results for my car make/model on his mobile app." He pulled out a larger battery and said, "This is the size you think you need?! That won't fit in your car!" which was an outright lie based on the answers I had collected. I'm pretty sure he just picked up a random battery in his truck bed. He said that he even "cut me a deal" for the [incorrect] battery he installed, and that he can't tell his boss "because he'll get in trouble."

I asked the technician to call his supervisor to request a replacement. The technician said his supervisor refused a replacement as all the battery options provided in the mobile app "technically fit" my car make and model. I called AAA and requested reimbursement immediately after, only to be told a refund wasn't guaranteed and could take up to four weeks for a response. The next day, I went into a local office and was told the same thing -- fill out paperwork and wait for a decision. As a longtime AAA customer, I left disappointed. The service I enjoyed for many years was severely lacking.

Now, not only am I stuck with the wrong battery, I was charged nearly $100.00 more than current MSRP ($130.00) for a battery I did NOT need. The issue wasn't resolved and AAA simply said, "Maybe you'll get your money back?" I have since disputed the charges with my bank and have cancelled my AAA membership. What an unpleasant experience!

Always get good service even when just walk in..go to place for registration because get tags right away without appointment...usually bring cash or check since credit and debit have a fee. Restrooms and water avaliable. Close Parking sometimes busy depending on day or time but plenty parking in back.

Beats the heck ou of waiting at the DMV for two hours only to then be greeted by some government employee who would rather be anywhere else on the planet, doing anything else. AAA people are always pretty helpful, and at least have some reasonable level of customer service..

My Husband and I had the pleasure of meeting with Natasha Gaget to assist us in our travel plans. The variety of options she shared after listening to ALL of our information was helpful, eye opening and, gave us an opportunity for other options too. She will always be our go to person for travel in the future.

It been 3 full weeks since AAA disabled my truck and left me abandoned. I purchased a new AAA battery & when the bumbling tech installed it, he turned on the trucks anti-theft. Now the truck won't start. The dashboard lights stay on, so the brand-new battery sits dead. Angelos's towing, who did this, towed it to their shop for 5 days and did nothing but leave my window down & rummage through the back of my truck. I've waited 4+ hours for techs, sat on hold forever, and been transferred and past to every employee. NO ONE CARES... I have been a member for many years. I have 3 vehicles insured with AAA. I will be finding a new insurance carrier asap. Then they promised me a free upgrade, see pic. And they took it away after they killed my car. So, I'm stuck in the middle nowhere with a truck that won't start.
My new AAA battery is dead so I can't work on it.

I'm paying AAA insurance for a dead truck that's been sitting 3 weeks. A truck disabled by AAA. AAA says I'm on my own.

Very confusing when you walk in as to where to go for what service you need. I wasn’t the only one, as several people who arrived after me had the same issue. There were two people who looked right at me and didn’t offer to help with directions. Only after I interrupted did they send me to one of the people who ignored me. I am here in person because leaving multiple messages got me nowhere. The office is clean though.

one time I move from California to North carolina I had a accident over here they had a recall on the steering calum then down the 20 feet down the bankment all most hit a big tree but didnt and hit a lot of small tree the hole side of the car was total out my son was with me to h he was so scare and me we walk away from it up the hill we had the law there and the fire truck god was with us me and my son god bless thank you .
