A Williamsburg White House in Williamsburg, VA is absolutely beautiful. The home is wonderfully decorated and the owner was very informative and friendly. My husband and I stayed in the Lincoln Suite. It was everything we could have asked for. The bed was super comfortable and all of our needs were met. The breakfasts in the morning were delicious and the table setting was gorgeous. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

Disappointing and Not Very Welcoming :/
We recently stayed at the Williamsburg White House Bed & Breakfast. Upon our arrival, the retired gentleman who greeted us asked where we were from. Upon hearing we were visiting from California, he said "Well, I guess that's okay as long as you are not moving here. We don't want any Californian's moving here at all." NOT VERY WELCOMING. I guess our money is okay as long as we don't stay. As to the room, we were in the Adam's Room. It is lovely. The interior design is very well done and everything was very neat and clean. That said, looks can be deceiving. The BED was as hard as CONCRETE. The bed pillows were as hard as concrete blocks. We have never had a more UNCOMFORTABLE night and were so exhausted with no sleep the next day was daunting. On a positive note, the next morning we joined other guests for breakfast and it was really great. The food was delicious, the food was plentiful and the lady that cooked and served the breakfast was really nice and welcoming.

Nice to see you read your reviews, Debbie. I know a joke when I see one and that was NOT a joke. He was rude, abrupt and I was told to put my covered iced tea down outside and to go sit in the living room. As to the bed, I find it "hard" to believe anyone has ever had a good nights rest on that mattress unless they are used to sleeping on the floor. If the mattress is 25 years old it is past time to get a new one!
Turning my complaint around to suit your narrative and gaslight me won't work. It it what it is.

My husband and I thought this was a perfect location to spend our babymoon - the hosts were beyond lovely and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. The room was comfortable and easy to access. Breakfast was outstanding - the menu options were unique and delicious. We were familiar with the area already but loved the location of this B&B - right across the street from W&M. If in the area again, we would stay at this B&B without hesitation!

We stayed at the White House for the first time in March and we were delighted. The Lincoln Siute was so comfortable. Having 2 baths was a huge bonus. The bed was super comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious! The location is centrally located to all the historic attractions.

My stay at the Williamsburg White House Inn was outstanding. The owners, John and Deb, went out of their way to make my stay pleasant and comfortable. It’s a beautiful place with large framed photos of the early presidents and a library full of books about colonial history.|They were excellent tour guides and went out of their way to help me get Uber rides, Amtrak train ride, make Airline reservations, and assist me in other ways.|I highly recommend their bed-and-breakfast. Food was outstanding!|You will not be disappointed ! 😍

We are locals and whenever we want a romantic getaway, we come here, as it’s our favorite place in town! We love the glass of port upon check-in with fresh cookies, the elegant and very well appointed rooms, the location near lots of good restaurants in Merchant’s Square ans Colonial Williamsburg, the delicious breakfast, and the kind hospitality of the hosts!

Our stay at White House B & B was a wonderful experience! Centrally located to Colonial Williamsburg, the house is full of history, ambiance & the most delicious breakfasts. The accommodations are superb with very gracious & friendly hosts. A must stay if you are visiting the area.

Of all the B&B’s where we have stayed throughout the years, this one is our absolute favorite. The hosts are wonderful people. The accommodations are amazing. Good parking and a very short walk to the Historic District. Wine and snacks every afternoon and the breakfast is a treat. I could go on for hours but I think you should experience this place for yourself!
