We rented this place for 3 nights for a girls trip getaway and had a great time. The beds were comfortable and the 3 full baths made it easy for the 7 of us to not be tripping over each other. The place was very spacious and the kitchen well equipped. I did not expect the “gas grill” to be a black stone grill which was a welcome surprise. The large hot tub easily fit the 7 of us. I would definitely recommend all-wheel/4-wheel drive as “Steep Slope Drive” definitely lives up to its name. We couldn’t believe all the games and things for families to play in the house, if we had had a rainy day while there we would not lack for things to do. We throughly enjoyed meals on the upper back deck looking out into the woods from the picnic table. Overall we would love to stay here again as we had an amazing experience. For summer adventures it was an easy drive to numerous hiking trails which half our group enjoyed while the other half opted for floating down a river through a nearby tubing company.
