Great experience with Bear Mountain Car Rental during our Alaskan cruise in August of 2024! I was a little hesitant at first with booking because the company is so new and didn’t have many reviews, but after speaking with Candace I knew we had made the right choice! She even gave us some history on the hike we wanted to do off the ship and made sure we were in a vehicle that would get us to the top of Harbor Mountain which ended up being one of the top highlights of our cruise! Can’t say enough great things about our experience! Highly recommend these guys!

Candace helped us out with a last minute booking for a vehicle when we came into Sitka on a cruise. She was very responsive and helpful. It was also super convenient that we picked the vehicle up right across the road from the cruise ship port. Highly recommend.

This was such an easy and pleasant way to explore Sitka! We cruised into port and received a text outlining where our car was parked (very close to ship). The car was great and we were able to experience Sitka as a family on our own time. We simply parked it back near the cruise ship. It was great!

Conveniently located near the Cruise Ship Terminal making it easy to avoid the busses and get yourself to town for excellent seafood, or see the rehabilitated eagles at the Raptor Center, out to Fortress of the Bear, or any other experience you want in Sitka!

Poor customer service. I called on a Sunday evening inquiring about renting a car. The lady asked me to text her the next day with all of my info and she'd call me back. I texted Monday. They saw the text but didn't respond. Tested again Tuesday, they saw the text and didn't respond. Texted again Wednesday, they saw the text and didn't respond. Called today (Thursday) no answer and no return call. Oh well, lost a sale.

And if you look at the other reviews, all 3 were made at the same time...by themselves. 🙄
