Perfectly located just outside Soldotna with stunning views. SO comfortable and spacious. Don and Jan are wonderful, thoughtful hosts.

We stayed during our once in a lifetime dream trip to Alaska. It was my husband and I, plus my brother and sister in law. The hosts Jan an Don we're delightful. They were on site most of the time to help out with all the questions and needs we came up with. |We stayed in the deluxe suite which easily slept us all very comfortably. Two king beds, washer/dryer, full living room, gorgeous deck with a view overlooking the pines and mountains. We had the upper level. It was built so well and beautifully that we didn't even notice the other guests around. And let's not forget the yummy treats left for us in the kitchen! That was a wonderful surprise. If you open the windows, which you will want to in this phenomenal atmosphere... you can hear the highway. But it wasn't bothersome enough to us to really matter. We stayed here while fishing for salmon and on a local cruise. It was marvelous and if we are ever blessed to be able to go again, we will definitely look them up.

What a wonderful place to stay! We highly recommend it for location, beauty, safety, quiet, and hospitality--and an occasional moose. The owners were kind and helpful, both online and throughout our week's visit. We stayed in a very comfortable studio that had everything needed, allowing us to host two family dinners with ease. Everything worked including the jacuzzi and BBQ. The vegetables from the greenhouse added a nutritional boost to our scrambled eggs. Book it-- you will have no regrets. I don't usually run a motor full bore nor rate something excellent-- but this is an exception.

We've stayed at Stillwaters Chalets three separate times and each time has been great! Don and Jan are wonderful hosts, and you'll always find coffee beans and pastries in the fridge when you arrive. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. ||||The chalets are clean and thoughtfully arranged. Each unit has it's own kitchen and washer/dryer unit, which is very convenient. The beds are super comfy and no matter if you stay in the upper or lower units, you'll have a quiet, comfortable place to rest and relax. My favorite are the upper units because they all have a gorgeous deck where you can sit and enjoy the picturesque scenery, plus the upper units have A LOT of natural light (which I love!). ||||Stillwaters Chalets is and will be my first choice anytime I'm traveling to the Soldotna area!

We stayed here for 7 months while our house was being built. Needless to say this place was perfect and felt like home. We stayed here once before years ago and the service has never changed, friendly and very helpful with our needs. The owners are very professional and made our long stay enjoyable. ||The chalet was clean, spacious and comfortable for not only my wife and I but also for our daughter who was two years old. The place is fully furnished with more than enough kitchen supplies. The view is amazing from the deck, especially with the Eagles and moose in the valley by the river. ||We would recommend this place to anyone, if you're a tourist this is the place to see the wildlife from your front porch, you can't get that in a hotel/motel in town!!||

Stillwaters was one of several places recommended by our fishing guide, as we prepared to organize a fishing trip to Alaska for a party of five. The chalet we all stayed in was ideal, with three levels and plenty of comfortable details to assure that we would all enjoy ourselves. The hosts were wonderfully sweet and treated us like family throughout our week-long stay. Beautiful views, flowers blooming all around, a lovely water feature, fully furnished kitchen, grill, whirlpool bath, washer/dryer, comfortable beds, nice deck, fresh sheets and towels...everything we needed, and more! I would def stay there again!

Their hospitality is amazing. It was a super comfortable setting and stay. (Bonus: Our cabin had a jacuzzi!) And Wow! What an amazing view! You can see for miles. Hope for a nice weather day so you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee on the patio.

Came to fish and this place was recommended by my guide. Boy, were they right!|Was by myself on a lower room. Excellent accommodation and quiet - especially after a hard day of fishing. Small freezer to help store my catch. Can't clean fish here but can cut up fillets and package them for return travel.|Owners live on site and want to make your stay memorable. A GREAT spot for a getaway even if you aren't fishing!
