We grabbed barbecue for the family at Smoked in Sitka after a long day seeing the town. Excellent food, the proprietor managed to perfectly deal with the complexity of our order (some dietary restrictions), and it was super easy to get in and out. Brisket was outstanding, and the sides (with the slaw being a standout) were excellent.

Atmosphere is a food cart so you get what you get there, but still giving a 5 star as I can’t help but emphasize what a great little place this is.

We came to town to hike and eat fish, but this is completely worth the intermission.

PS the Carolina mustard sauce should be bottled and sold.

You won’t find this place on your cruise maps. Or even talked about. If you out and about adventuring around. This place has some of the best BBQ I have ever had. This cowboy likes his meat. We walked from the cruise terminal. Found this place in town. It’s an easy walk from the bus drop off. Not so easy from the cruise terminal. The views were amazing. Highly recommended this place. Great ppl. Amazing prices. Try the home made sauce!
